As per Dr.Khader Valli Ji , we must soak Andu Korrallu for eight to ten hours before cooking as Andu Korrallu has more dietary fibre than the other four positive minor millets. After soaking for eight to ten hours . Cook it with one Andu Korrallu is to ten or more water ratio for a maximum of 20 minutes . That's all. Another five minutes if you are not satisfied with 20 minutes. Water must be more for Ambalee. Then tranfer the Ambalee into a earthen pot and tie a muslin cloth so that the Ambalee can breath . Rest it for six to eight hours so that positive Microbes breed in the Ambalee. After resting the Ambalee for six to eight hours it's called as Fermented Ambalee. It will not be sour but it's done with fermenting. After resting the Ambalee for six to eight hours, have it on an empty stomach every day with your home made lemon pickle or any other pickle or even with a curry . Please apply the same procedure for the remaining four millets. And rotate the each minor millet every two to three days . Never add salt while cooking or resting the Ambalee. Add salt if desired only while eating or drinking the Fermented Ambalee. For people suffering from serious diseases , they must have only Fermented Ambalee prepared in the above mentioned method.
