The fountain of truth is what I always call it... because it keeps you honest and alert... not to get smacked in the face, by it. I had that happen on my first job I ever did in the morning and I smelled like you know what all dang day long. From that day on, I kept a spare set of clothes in my truck.
It's funny, my dad had a relative lot of drain problems, so he eventually just bought a professional electric drain snake, similar to what you see in these videos, because it was in the long run just cheaper than rentals and whatever else. That said, even though my house doesn't currently have a sewer issue I'm aware of, these videos make me want to run that snake anyway "just in case."

It's a matter of time before it happens again, they were advised to do a water jet, the clog started deep into the trap where I was running the snake and I chopped up the foundation that caused the explosion.
Just getting to the drains was a days work. This toilet was used as a garbage disposal. The yuck factor was right up there until the hair. That really did it for me. It looked like a black wig was flushed down. 🤮

I'm thinking they ran out of toilet paper and used paper towels instead not realizing the magnitude of the problems they cause. Wipe and put in the barrel if it's #2 or 3 discreetly bag it up I know what all paper towels were for... It was for a "clean up" and someone got lazy and threw in the toilet along with some hair .. idiots...😅😂 Would you recommend a good cleaning of pipes that look like that? Like every 5-10 years?
Any way to get ride of soap scum build up without opening the access? Do you think those pipes need a cleaning? Could you clean the pipes? Do you tell the owners that they really need a pipe cleaning?
@@NYDRAINS Thank you. The reason I said it was oil is because I have seen a lot of drain unblock videos where the sewage and the kitchen drains are separate, up to a certain point. The sewage blockages are always brown but the kitchen blockages are black. I follow a number of drain unblockers, from all over the world and I heard a couple of them remark that the black colour signifies a kitchen waste pipe.
Let's flush everything we can think of down the toilet. Never ceases to amaze me. Good job, as always. 👍
