@@i_kinda_exist2599 Yes, I'm aware, but I figured what I had to say was worth censoring. I also figured that it would have been censored in a video, so that's why I phrased it how I did.
My daughter cried when she got her first penalty, she said it was so embarrassing to get sent to the box all alone. Lol. She got a little too rough with a kid while clearing the crease, so at least she was playing her position well.
That kid messing with his friend telling him hes out of the box…. Hahaha 😂 well played and then he covered it so well and switched blame. Got em aaaaaah😂😂😂😂
“You see, the ref breathed, the momentum of his breath changed the terminal velocity of my poke check, causing it to miss and trip the other player which coincidentally stopped a breakaway goal, thus meaning it was the ref’s fault”
Lol, bringing back memories of the boys that played hockey in my Canadian middle school. Always something going on with them, sometimes giving better drama than the cool girls. Wonder where those boys are now
I played travel hockey in buffalo and sny time there was a tournament in canada or a Canadian team in a tournament they were always way more physical than American kids. They start earlier or something. Definitely teach it more. I just remember getting rocked center ice and the wind knocked out of me and thinking I just ran into a tank. A 60 pound tank.
Growing up playing youth hockey in MN, we ran into our fair share of Canadian teams. At that time, they allowed checking in Peewees (U13) in Canada but not in the US. Needless to say, every tourney in CAN between 5th-7th grade was a hootenanny... we had a blast beating up (and getting beat up) N. of the border. Winkler, Steinbach, Grand Portage, Thunder Bay, Winnipeg, Rainy River... FUN times!😆
@Peyote Chronicles yea that was the rule you're right. USA hockey, which we were mandatory cards carrying members of, had the age higher than Canada for checking. Biggest thing is they could keep their balance when checking and you could tell they'd done it already. whereas we were being told on the drive up that checking is legal. We weren't allowed to even practice checking. It's a different game. Not only do I remember getting rocked at center ice but I remember getting pinned against the boards in their corner by one guy while another kid swooped in and took the puck from between my skates without breaking stride. Then and there I knew they were playing a different game. I played hockey through high school but I was a way better roller hockey player. That light puck, no offsides and not checking were all complimentary to my game. I lived Michael Peca and Peter Forsberg and tried so hard to model myself after them as I got older but I was always more of a Paul Kariya. Quick, had good hands, defensively responsible center, great finisher but didn't create enough of my opportunities to have a chance to finish and be recognized as actually good. I was streaky too. I scored like 6 goals in the first 5 games my junior year then didn't score for 14 games before finishing the last 11 games with 13 goals. The Highlight of my hockey life was scoring the game-tying goal in ling island at state championships with 30 seconds left in the game. Just beat their d man to the back post and redirected a pass/shot/far corner dump in under the goalie's pads. We lost the first minute of overtime and I was on the bench. Scored that goal. Got taken off and the 1st line finishes the 30 seconds. Then to start ot at the last second the coach calls our line back ofd yge ice before the faceoff and puts the 1st line out again. They immediately down 2 on 1 and arguably our best player cranks one off the pipe. The play immediately heads turns up ice and theyre trappedbeliw the goaline. One d stupidly tries to step up at the blue line and the puck gets by him. Now it's a 2-1. Our other d guy does the right thing and takes the pass away, even laying out at the last second to take the bottom of the net away too. Didn't matter Kid roofs one glove side and it was over like that...
At this age the kids are still having fun! Most of the penalties are are due to lack of control but you got to teach control. They keep laughing, having fun! Great lesson. It’s a GAME! Good job players.
I thought I'd never cross check a guy from behind either. Then one day he was in front of the net back to me and we're protecting the lead with seconds to go as the puck comes to him. I didn't even think, felt bad after but I did what I had to XD
I loved & hated referring the mite/squirt level because they love the game but the parents hate the "no call" aka Two kids colliding cuz they can't turn.
The kid at 11:50 its not even you can interview me if i make it to the NHL. Its you can interview me if i ever take a penalty there. Lmao kid is going places!
“He touched my goalie so I hit him.” Somewhere out there is a proud father at this moment 😂😂
I’m proud and I don’t know the kid. Protect the defenseless 👌🏻
and yet dudes in beer league can't understand why they're getting roughed up for pokin the goalie
Me when I played :|
Daddy-Ball at its finest...not impressed
No priest is going to be touching this kid anymore
"Would you ever be a ref?"
"No, I'm not blind"
HAAAA HA HA HA HAAAAA!!
"I play lacrosse, so I'm not used to usually not cross checking-" lil homie gonna see the box a lot huh
"that's why jack got a penalty, he wanted to meet you" love it
“He touched my Goalie so I hit him.” This child is going to be an NHL Player. I will be watching for him 😂
These kids roasting Doughty and Marchand is the most accurate and savage truth bomb this year
I mean, the kid was born in like 2013 lol probably started watching hockey when Doughty started his decline
"THEY WERE BORN THE YEAR THE LEAFS LOST THE 4-1 LEAD"

Go Bruins!!!!

After watching this video, I think I actually could have a kid, but they'd have to play hockey for sure, these kids are built different lol

Must be special for Corwin to get to interview hockey players who can actually raise the puck. Meanwhile Jesse gets dusted by Mark Messier.

He watched his NHL father do these interviews and imitate him.
Lmfao facts
Kid’s going places for sure, here’s to hoping he makes captain as an adult lmao
Did he say his dad’s Lee Giffin?
Plz do more of these videos. Do them with like 15-18 year olds tho in houseleague tourneys 😂

Such flair!
Corwin just encouraged kids to curse 🤣
The absolute gaslighting from corwin

Uhhhhhhhhh.. no.
Jesse isn't allowed near kids anymore.
“Nice tarp kid. Don’t know why you need the fight strap though when you’re such a coward.” Jesse - chirping 8 year olds
People make jokes, but I bet Jessie would be great with the kids if they asked him to do it. Mix in a few of his antics, and the kids would love it.

That penalty shot call tho. Wes McCauley’s really gained some weight this off season
