Ah, tricky one this as the crossing is not light controlled and has a refuge, so a sort of uncontrolled Puffin. There is no obligation on the driver to stop and the highway code advice to pedestrians is to wait on the refuge until the road is clear, however, any sensible grown up is going to stop and allow them to cross, thus reducing risk and avoiding confusion.
I love how in the first video the driver didn’t even notice that it wasn’t the jags fault. It was the recently passed vehicle, who swerved into his lane, making him swerve into the cameras lane. Guessing no one in that clip was being observant! 😂
7:35 I love these clips, bloke in his PE kit, either late for school or Community Payback, hair that looks like it was cut with a knife and fork giving it large after exiting a Yaris! oh and your mum seems to have forgotten to register, tax and MOT her trusty Toyota as DVLA don't seem to know it even exists. At first I thought it might be a drug dealer but then I thought, no self respecting drug dealer would run around in that, they would be a laughing stock!
my assumption is it was all probably a scam atempt. cause an accident then try settle it with cash or something until the cammer pointed out that he has a dash cam
First clip, in my opinion the Jag driver did nothing wrong. He correctly moved to lane 3 to overtake the P plate middle lane hog 0:13 , and returned to lane 1. Then he moves to lane 2 to go straight ahead and avoided a collision on the roundabout when the next P plate changed lanes to the right while indicating left 0:35 The cammer then honks at him for his "mistake" and the Jag driver doesn't react. The P plate moves back to lane 1 for the 2 lane exit, allowing the Jag driver to go hack where he was before he had to take avoiding action. Yes, he exited from the wrong lane, but it wasn't his fault he was there, and it was safe to do so. Dzham M (like many cammers sending in clips) should have reviewed the footage before sending it in. He also then leaves the roundabout at the next exit by changing from lane 3 to lane 1. I wonder if anyone was behind him swearing and calling him names!
He was correct to exit from lane 3. Highway code rule 184 "stay in this lane until you need to alter course to exit the roundabout There are no workings to say otherwise
@@TheKeirsunishi Agreed, but he left it late. He should start moving over as he passes the previous exit. He also could have started off in lane two. Either way though, the Jag driver did nothing wrong, agreed?
I Couldn't agree more. Cammer is one of the many drivers who don't look beyond the end of their bonnet and just reacts to what happens directly in front of them "jags gone in my lane, how dare he" without considering why they might have done so.
Great music at 3:47. I had a mate many years ago when we had pea soup fogs and I asked him why he does not put lights on, he said "don't need them I can see alright". Never mind about people seeing HIM of course!
at 1:50 driver doesn't stop to let a pedestrian across. To be fair the lines are not great and they do need re-painting. I had to look at the footage twice simply because I thought it was just and Island crossing in the middle of the road at first. But then to the dash cam footage soon afterwards that's what you do go ahead and block a junction.
3:43 see this shit there on a regular basis, the only thing that threw me was the lack of traffic, I don't think I've ever seen that junction that quiet in daylight 😂😂
Stephen at 1:41, correct that the driver in front failed to let a pedestrian cross. Now shall we have a little chat about your failure to leave a junction clear? 🤦♂️
First clip, yeah you can tell the driver was being a bit of a knob, but to be fair, the VW P-plater shouldn't have been sat in the middle lane, and then the Nissan P-plater didn't maintain a lane on the roundabout and drifted in to the jags. Who's giving these people licenses?!
1:45 The diver did nothing wrong. There's nothing in the highway code that says divers need to give way to pedestrians waiting to cross at designated crossing points. If it were a zebra crossing then the driver should have given way, but as there are no orange flashing beacons it is not a zebra crossing, so there is not obligation for the driver to give way.
Unrelated but the junction in that Matti M video is DISGUSTING!! How you even knew to turn right where you did and not go to the top with the car in front and turn right there....wtf is going on?

1:55 - OK, in their very, _very_ mild defence, that crossing needs repainting.

How strange that the first two clips are of two roundabouts I know very well! The first one is always idiot city. No one gets in the correct lane.

Something well dodgy about the last clip. The blue Peugeot's NP: Y494DDV does not exist. I'm guessing this road rage is an insurance scam gone wrong.
It's Y494ODV, which hasn't been taxed since Feb 2021...
