Rice Bag Backpack

- I thought it would be fun to document the process of building a simple backpack. Typically this would take less than a day, but filming was a new experience for me and added additional challenges. The container was made from a left over 50lb rice bag, which is super light, durable and waterproof. I originally made the pattern for a small 16L Cordura day pack but I was curious to see how this material would work. Overall I'm very happy with the results!
Materials:
1x 50lb Rice bag
1/4 yd 500D Cordura
1yd #8 YKK coil Zipper (w/ reverse slider)
1/4" Closed Cell Foam
1/16" HDPE
1"x14" 6061 Aluminum
1" 17337 Nylon Webbing
2" 17337 Nylon Webbing
2x 1" Ladderloc
2" Hook & Loop
550 Para-Cord

I don't have the pattern available yet, but I may do another project showing the pattern making process
Do you sell these?

Bro, I am a HUGE fan of your work. I sent you a DM on Insta, and am filling the void with your YT videos while waiting for a reply.
Hope to hear back from you soon, cuz I’m gonna run out of videos pretty quickly
