Good videos man, awesome work you do. I like that you do so much by hand, its a great skill to have, as electronics do fail. Anyway, just wanted to drop a line and say after watching this, I have the same car (2012, same keyway), its common as shit on those and the Fiesta that the door locks don't work very well. When I bought mine I cut a copy for it and I thought I had a bad cut when I could barely get it to work the door, but it worked like a champ in the ignition. I tried my OEM key that came with the car, it was the same thing, smooth in the ignition, not the best in the door. I hand filed them a little bit and now they work much smoother.
Question ... I have 2000 ford explorer XLT I lost my keys n had 2 replace the switch ... Will this scamtool program my ford explorer n drop pin for thebdoor locks
No. This programmer is better suited for cars made after 2012 and I rarely ever use it anymore. Its essentially obsolete and if I were you, Id remove this programmer from the equation, period.
@@JarethGarza First at all I am an active locksmith, I have seen and learn a lot from your videos and I notice you have plenty anf several key programmers I do own a few average key programmers. As well Key tool plus App I’m608 T300 Ck100 And xtool x100 pro! Similar to Obdstar x100 proS The one you currently own I love those plug and play handy scanners and for the fact that you don’t need to worry about battery life just plug and play Obdstar x100 pro S is actually out of production discontinued And I would love to have it on my collection
Can someone please tell me why lots of American cars have those unsightly buttons on the door to unlock them? It kinda reminds me of watching films in the 80's and seeing those station wagons that had wood panelling on the sides, Even though I was just a kid I can still remember thinking how strange American's can be lol
Jareth Garza I sent you my email address just waiting on you to sent me a email so I can add my number so we can talk business I’m really interested in learning eprom got a real passion for electronics
But you watched it and learned something right. Make your own video or be quiet. People here take time out of their lives to make something to make your life easier and then you come around and put them down. Maybe you are poor quality
It's got some slow points, but I prefer to see this type; where I can see exactly how long it *should* take, so I know whether or not I'm stuck in a hole or not. Cheers mate.
