Our lass is a sufc fan but came to the game with me as I went with her when u played Huddersfield and hull at Wembley. Even she enjoyed the day even tho it wasn't her team
Is it me or were Orient never the same after they lost 1-0 to Brentford at home. They just seemed to lose all hope on promotion and could now be playing teams like Eastleigh next season.
Got to be the best feeling in the world to win at wembley and the worse to lose we lost there 4 years ago and for us it was a long trip home good thing if for the o's was it was not that much of a journey home and have the other supporters rubbing it in all the way back
As a Rotherham supporter, I now feel kind of bad for what's happened to Orient. That season they started by winning their first 9 games or so. Then they lost this. Then went down. Then went down again. Ouch.
Dean cox, Moses, lisby, Mooney all these terrific players left. I was 10 at this game. I cried when they lost, after they went down and proceeded To go down.
I remember Orient giving Wolves a run for their money that season. Played them at home at Christmas, 1-1 draw and they were a great side. Only to finish 3rd to Brentford..
I`m looking at the penalties for the first time and I feel so sick I dunno I I can watch it I was there that day I was 10 I only missed 7 games that season
That game was amazing leyton orients first goal was good and that first half left me sitting with my head in my hands at half time but Revel and Collin are legends so sad Revel now at Cardiff
Alex Revell's goal goes down in EFL folklore as one of the greatest play off final goals of all time and Rotherham made history the first club to go back to back promotions from League 2 to The Championship twice as they did it in 1999-2001 under Ronnie Moore and since the EFL was rebranded in 2004 Steve Evans became the second manager to achieve this feat after Darren Ferguson achieved with Peterborough in 2007/08 and 2008/09 and it was his 8th in all in his managerial career
It is amazing how if that was hazard, Ronaldo, messi or De Bruyne who scored revel second goal it still would have been talked about as one of the best goals in any sort of final in footballing history from a middlesbrough fan
And guess what the Millers are back again at Wembley against Shrewsbury to reclaim our place in the championship! It's OK if you don't like rotherham united, not everyone as good taste.
i'm a Sheffield United fan and even i have to admit that Alex Revell's goal is one of the best (if not the best) goals i've ever seen at Wembley

Still can’t watch ...was behind the goals for the shootout - devastated we lost but fair play to Rotherham for coming back from two goals down 😭
so do we all agree that the second revell goal is the greatest of all time
Yeah mate

Revell's second goal is one of the best goals I have ever seen
Yeah was there too even see me in the crowed around 91 mins of the game was thinking fook me cant take et and pens lol
I WAS THE ONE HOLDING THE GREEN ALIEN!!!!!!!!!!!
The ups and downs! Being there nearly killed me
Im so glad that the pair of them (Alex, Revell, Steve Evans and Paul Rayner) all work together to coach Stevenage.

we are the millers 4 years ago it was a great game but we are rotherham united and we are the best and going back up to the championship
Sadly rotherham are a yo-yo team. We won the play offs the season after and never looked back so far
Took ages to get down to wembley and to be 2-0 down at half time most of my family relatives were leaving but I kept hope and We WON!!! UTM
Skilled Gamerz Says the guy with the Chelsea badge... Typical
Because they are my local team dummie! AlexAFC
Skilled Gamerz You support 2 teams?
Yeah. Rotherham and Chelsea! Got a Problem? AlexAFC
Sheffield United 🥴
Attendance for the 2014 Football League One Play-Off Final was 43,401 fans.
It is amazing how if that was hazard, Ronaldo, messi or De Bruyne who scored revel second goal it still would have been talked about as one of the best goals in any sort of final in footballing history from a middlesbrough fan
Becchetti made such a mess of Leyton Orient that they still haven’t recovered from his time as owner.
And guess what the Millers are back again at Wembley against Shrewsbury to reclaim our place in the championship! It's OK if you don't like rotherham united, not everyone as good taste.
