I dont know why I find it hard to watch anything with Wang Dao Tie without Shiqi. But I'm glad his career is taking off as I know he is a great actor who can easily seamlessly switch from different genre. Adorable & prince charming boyfriend and husband then a vicious cunning man next..his dramatic scenes are also commendable. Truly versatile actor.

I am with most on the ML, Love him when he is the good guy! But widening his acting by playing the bad guy can be good. It shows that he has a acting range. I just hope he does more of the good guy role then the bad. :)
I saw him in a movie with Jiang Shiqi where she was blind. They played a couple with a kid and he was pure evil in that one.

I like the actor playing the Male Lead, and there were a lot of other things going for this production. But this version wasn't just edited for violence, whole scenes were removed!!
This happened frequently, even at the ending climax of the show. I could still follow the overall plot, but knowing How and Why things happen is the point of watching or reading a story.
Meaning, I might like to see the unedited version some time, but I can't recommend this one.
One of my favorite ML. Though this drama is too petty for him , he is totally on a matured romantic level, which this FL can’t attain 😊
Drama is good but many scenes are missing.

I honestly can't tell you when these 2 main Leads fell in love because they didn't have alot of time alone to actually fall in love, with one pretending to be a cripple but later on letting his guide down and the other pretending to be a fool for more than half of this CDrama 🙈😂, anyhow the acting was on Point especially ML, FL and SML they acted pretty nice, that SML acted so unhinged I thought for a second that he went crazy 😅😂😂, well done to him 👏. The only person who wasn't all that good in acting was SFLs mum, she needs more acting lessons. The Storyline in itself isn't that great neither is it that bad just average with attractive Actors 😅. Cheers mates 🤗
Original Drama was Yu long and Yang Mie Mie and their chemistry is awesome.
This version is also good .
It's cause they don't have chemistry. Like ZERO. Only a few actresses can match/complement Wang Daotie's charisma 😅

Just ok plot .. Loved the ML and his acting .. Grandma took complete U turn when she saw the necklace... but did support FL till the end ... felt too many parts missing .. especially after the ML got stabbed with the knife .. he showed on the screen after long time ... plot or editing messed up ... ML's were looking soo good when she acted as fool .. like her acting but there after it was just ok with her ....

This feels like it was abbreviated, whole scenes skipped or removed. The editing in doing so left some questions, but overall, what I could get from the story was interesting. In fairness, since this feels it was cut short, I'll give it a 6.5/10.
I'd like to see the full show, I think I would score it higher if I could see it in it's entirety, as there feels like a potential for it to be an 8 or even 9. The lead actors were good. Grandma was awesome. The evil brother was bat-sh*t crazy. The evil sister was greedy and delusional. The so-called childhood sweetheart was just a whiny, dumb b*tch. The plot could have held some real potential, but again, I feel like many scenes were edited out (and I am not sure why).

I like how Grandma called her grandson "Gorgeous." I didn't see it coming when Ji Yanli slapped Xie Wo Ning in the face. In most dramas I watched, the ML does not hit a woman. This is the first time and I think it's justifiable for Xie Wo Ning to get more slaps. I would like to see Ranran give this woman at least 4 slaps and that evil step-sister and step-mother some too.
