When you really think about it, just because present science can’t explain how magic works (ie. placebo effect??) doesn’t mean it isn’t happening or that it isn’t still full of mystery.

I have never intentionally worked with the moon, yet I notice myself doing certain things in certain moon phases,,,mainly cleaning and clearing, which I just done doing the basement and now enjoying a coffee along with your video.

I’ve just recently started practicing again after being more of a jack-witch (a witch who hasn’t been practicing regularly) and I just recently found your channel. I’ve been doing moon rituals KINDA regularly but I’ve wanted to get more regular about it and bring more witchcraft into them and I LOVE this. I love the goal planning and the cleaning and organization bit because that’s what I’ve been doing for Ostara anyways! Plus the fact that I’ve been trying to organize and get my head straight. I’m trying to get more healthy habits established so I can welcome new things into my life and be ready to accept them!
Whether moon magic is real or not, I feel led by the moon phases and it’s a great way to have order in your life. I’m just getting back into all of this after a long hiatus.🌛🌝🌜
I just did my new moon ritual last night. I have been looking into my deities (I’ve only been practicing witchcraft for about 2 years) and I noticed that one of my main ones, Hekate, actually has a new moon ritual and tarot spread. It helped me so much on my spiritual journey! It actually prompted me to watch your self love spell video as well! I enjoy your videos so much. I’ve been binge watching them today. I just wanted to take the time to say you’re amazing and I’m so glad I’ve found your channel.

I'm so glad to have found your channel, really appreciate finding witches with the same sort of beliefs as me! Your take on the moon cycle is pretty much identical to mine.
Until I started taking medication for my issues, my endometriosis was always connected directly to the moon. The few days before the moon was full my cramps would get really bad, and on the full moon my cycle would start and I would be in agony. Once the moon started to wane so would my flow, and the pain. It felt like tidal pulling inside my body. My medicine helps me out with this now but I always found it fascinating how my body was so tied to the moon. Makes you wonder how it effects us psychologically and physically in other ways.

I've started with rune magic, but I love the moon. The moon is so powerful and for me also the moon is a link to the old gods and deities. Moon magic is very good for beginner witches. I have had many a fellow pagan have a meltdown at my ability to mock some of our more out-there beliefs. Thanks for reminding me of the upcoming New Moon, since retirinu days run together. I was planning out my Fall garden today and wondered how close the New Moon was...of course my phone was in the house. Now I know and can get the root crop planted tomorrow and the above crop on Sunday. That's as far as I've planned. Has Spain cooled down any? We just hit our 19th day of 100° this Summer, and I live at 4,000 feet in elevation.
I can imagine it is sometimes difficult to keep track of the weekdays when you are not on a work schedule anymore. And Yaih for planting with the moon! I hope all your plants will be beautiful and abundant 🧡 uffff, that's some crazy heat! Unfortunately I'm in the hottest city of Spain so it won't really cool down until the winter months 🥵

Mesoamerican paganism fir Mexicans and central Americans, Incan and Amazonian practices for South Americans and Afro-Caribbean for our island brothers and sisters. just started watching some of ur videos and although I like ur ideas on what to do for a new moon I didn't agree at all in ur intro. if u look into it u will find the moon affects many things in our lives and its proven there r more suicides, more people admitted into hospitals on a full moon, more babies r born on a full moon, it affects sleep, and thimk about it if the moon pulls the oceans tides in and out, we as humans are made up of 74% water (or close to that number, may b higher) so to assume the moon doesn't really affect much, is quite the understatement! it affects everything from moods to menstrual cycles. there's even more. if u want more info I'm happy to send u some stuff
So glad you enjoy the ideas ❤️ I get why you would assume this - those myths get regurgitated as if they were facts all over the internet and media but if you actually take the time to read the outcomes of properly conducted scientific studies around those topics you will see that this is all proven wrong ☺️ Personally I also thought some of these to be true, until I did research for this video and actually dug through a thousand and one papers 😄 I know it sounds plausible on first glance, romantic and nature-bound but it really is aaaaabsolutely untrue. First of all, the moon doesn't have an effect on closed bodies of waters (eg our bodies) and it would have a fully insignificant amount even if (think of lakes, where the effect of the tides is basically invisible). Second, the gravitational pull is even storng at the full moon as it is of course at the new moon. Furthermore the female cycles is regulated by hormones, being influenced by stresslevels, nutrition and lifestyle - not by moon phases. Humans are one of the few species on earth to experience menstruation and for each species the cyclic rythm varies vastly, so it would be very weird if just human menstruations were affected by some floating rock on the sky but no other mammals 😄❤️ if you'd like me to provide some actual studies on the topic, please comment. I am happy to provide scientific proof. Having said that, if you believe, the moon will still be one of your strongest allies in working your magick, so in the end it doesn't really matter✨ what matters is, what you personally want to believe ❤️

But I agree there may be some placebo effect going on or MAYBE we just don't have the answers yet! A lot of the studies were inconclusive or showing no relationship. There actually has been scientific data that supports menstrual cycles that are in sync with the new moon 🌙 Also sleep patterns change right before a new or full moon. Just to name a few 💕
yep! and just because there aren’t mainstream studies/stats about something, doesn’t mean it’s not real…people forget that the studies we have access to are regulated by the media and the government, so of course our information is going to be filtered! also, lots of nurses have widely agreed that they are overwhelmed by far more weird accidents and mental health crises in their work around the full moon!
Technically the Earth and Moon both move around their mutual center of gravity called the barycenter, but the barycenter is located beneath the Earth's crust, so it's more or less that the Moon orbits the Earth

Hmm. Correlation is not causation. There is a synchronicity that exists between humankind and the moon, cause/effect does not apply. Synchronicity transcends science. Something doesn't have to be proven in a clinical study to be resonatingly interesting and experientially true. Science has its limits also because a research study depends upon the way the person writes it and the hypothesis they create before they conduct it. So if the hypothesis is proven "wrong" or unmet in a trial, then that's just the conclusion of the study, not a fact, yet. It takes a wide variety of hypotheses and trials on a topic to make something irrefutable (fact vs bs) which is not the case here. Relatively speaking there are very few scientific facts out there, more theories than anything. Mainstream people don't realize the difference. Speculations continue because the correlative results are inconclusive, rather than incorrect.
Any of these rituals will work, if they are done with clean, open heart and if we truly believe in them . “thy FAITH that made thee whole” in Jesus’s words- mATTHEW 9:22

I like to try to sleep more during the New Moon. My periods actually are sync'd with the New Moon for at least the last year or so. I've been working 48 to 60 hours a week since about May 1 and I'm exhausted. I'm exhausted and it's worse during that time of the month. I am planning a spell/ritual for this New Moon to bring in more money with less work. Tfs these Witchy things for the New Moon.

Thanks for reminding me of the upcoming New Moon, since retirinu days run together. I was planning out my Fall garden today and wondered how close the New Moon was...of course my phone was in the house. Now I know and can get the root crop planted tomorrow and the above crop on Sunday. That's as far as I've planned. Has Spain cooled down any? We just hit our 19th day of 100° this Summer, and I live at 4,000 feet in elevation.
I can imagine it is sometimes difficult to keep track of the weekdays when you are not on a work schedule anymore. And Yaih for planting with the moon! just started watching some of ur videos and although I like ur ideas on what to do for a new moon I didn't agree at all in ur intro. if u look into it u will find the moon affects many things in our lives and its proven there r more suicides, more people admitted into hospitals on a full moon, more babies r born on a full moon, it affects sleep, and thimk about it if the moon pulls the oceans tides in and out, we as humans are made up of 74% water (or close to that number, may b higher) so to assume the moon doesn't really affect much, is quite the understatement! it affects everything from moods to menstrual cycles. there's even more. if u want more info I'm happy to send u some stuff
So glad you enjoy the ideas ❤️ I get why you would assume this - those myths get regurgitated as if they were facts all over the internet and media but if you actually take the time to read the outcomes of properly conducted scientific studies around those topics you will see that this is all proven wrong ☺️ Personally I also thought some of these to be true, until I did research for this video and actually dug through a thousand and one papers 😄 I know it sounds plausible on first glance, romantic and nature-bound but it really is aaaaabsolutely untrue. First of all, the moon doesn't have an effect on closed bodies of waters (eg our bodies) and it would have a fully insignificant amount even if (think of lakes, where the effect of the tides is basically invisible). Second, the gravitational pull is even storng at the full moon as it is of course at the new moon. Furthermore the female cycles is regulated by hormones, being influenced by stresslevels, nutrition and lifestyle - not by moon phases. Humans are one of the few species on earth to experience menstruation and for each species the cyclic rythm varies vastly, so it would be very weird if just human menstruations were affected by some floating rock on the sky but no other mammals 😄❤️ if you'd like me to provide some actual studies on the topic, please comment. I am happy to provide scientific proof. Having said that, if you believe, the moon will still be one of your strongest allies in working your magick, so in the end it doesn't really matter✨ what matters is, what you personally want to believe ❤️

yep! and just because there aren’t mainstream studies/stats about something, doesn’t mean it’s not real…people forget that the studies we have access to are regulated by the media and the government, so of course our information is going to be filtered!
also, lots of nurses have widely agreed that they are overwhelmed by far more weird accidents and mental health crises in their work around the full moon!
4 of my 5 children were born around the full moon and a nurse once said to me that they're always busy on the full moon with babies being born 🙂

Hmm. Correlation is not causation. There is a synchronicity that exists between humankind and the moon, cause/effect does not apply. Synchronicity transcends science. Something doesn't have to be proven in a clinical study to be resonatingly interesting and experientially true. Science has its limits also because a research study depends upon the way the person writes it and the hypothesis they create before they conduct it. So if the hypothesis is proven "wrong" or unmet in a trial, then that's just the conclusion of the study, not a fact, yet. It takes a wide variety of hypotheses and trials on a topic to make something irrefutable (fact vs bs) which is not the case here. Relatively speaking there are very few scientific facts out there, more theories than anything. Mainstream people don't realize the difference. Speculations continue because the correlative results are inconclusive, rather than incorrect.

I like to try to sleep more during the New Moon. My periods actually are sync'd with the New Moon for at least the last year or so. I've been working 48 to 60 hours a week since about May 1 and I'm exhausted. I'm exhausted and it's worse during that time of the month.
