I am a registered Republican casting my vote for Kamala Harris & Tim Walz. Praying God continues to give Harris/Walz favor with the American people & voters.
My aunt's boyfriend, nearly 100 now, a native Nebraskan, Korean War vet, and lifelong GOP voter, drew the line at Trump in 2016. He just could not vote for that guy. It wasn't worth his country to support his party of choice that time.

As a Republican from 1980 to 2015, I became an independent when tRump came down that escalator. I will NEVER vote for a MAGAt candidate. I agree but not on negotiating with them. In my opinion he told the Taliban they could have Afghanistan and the US would run away. The Afghan government was not included in the negotiations (Doha agreement). The ‘deal’ included that the US would not fight the Taliban as long as they didn’t attack the US. Said nothing about afghan troops or government. The job of the president is to deal with adversaries, often in diplomatic channels, to serve the interest of the country. Maybe running away here and leaving Afghanistan for China to take over and leaving Iraq and abandoning the Kurds for Russia to take over gave some countries bold ideas. So much for ‘no more wars’ that is often posted.
