I do like the alternative portrait Platinum Jubilee 50p by John Bergdahl and I didn't know it wasn't going into circulation. I was under the impression both the designs would be out there soon. Looks like I'm going to have to try to find myself one as I am a fan of that design. Thanks Christopher and Britannia coins.
Yep just the standard Jody Clark obverse was circulated. If someone does break it out of their collection or set and spends it though there is always a chance of finding one -CC
i found a 2019 peter rabbit in a Camberley bag. couldn't believe it literally a minute later i found football Olympic and that was the only coin i was hunting for to finish the book. nothing really else happened after but was most epic hunt for me.
@@BritanniaCoinCompany yeah it was good. I was more chuffed with the football as it finished the book. Next best hunt to that was 5 Olympics with 1 of them being judo. Other than that my hunts are just basic nothing out the ordinary. I’ve hunted through around 220 bags of £250. Still no Kew. But I won’t give up 😝
I did see the swimmer with lines on when I looked at your website. My inner demon wanted it, but my Angel side kicked in🤣🤣 I would of liked the Decimal day coin or the Birmingham Commonwealth Games in Circulation. I agree about the Dinosaur coins the young ones would of loved them. Great video Christopher 👌👍
Great video, The only NIFC coin I’ve ever found is a 2009 shield 50p 😄 👍, if I had to pick any NIFC coin to have in my collection It would probably be a 1983 new pence 2p or a 2011 aquatics with lines over the face (I thought that a circulated one would be worth more then BUNC one as it’s not supposed to be in circulation 🤔 but I’d probably pick a BUNC one if I got a choice 👍)
Too many NIFC’S literally killed the coin collecting hobby for me. Will only go for circulating coins from now on can’t justify spending £8 everytime for bunc nifc 50ps been far too many of them
We are seeing more and more people of a similar opinion. I would love more coins to get into circulation even if that means lower mintages as a result. -CC
On your personal channel you mentioned a few times coins sounded tinny. Have you zapped them with the fancy dancy machine to see how the metal composition varies? Might make an interesting short video or part of a full one
40 years ago for Grand Day out sounds out to me, maybe 30? I'm 39 and remember it. We had, god what was the orange plasticine guy from Tony Hart called, that's was in the 80s.
Yeah a grand day out was released in 1989 so would have been the 30th anniversary edition when released in 2019 not 40th, I think perhaps Christopher just made a mistake….then again I have heard him say 40th anniversary in other videos
Nope. It is more that prices fluctuate so much over time we don't want people watching in the future to go away with a value that is too high or too low for the coins they have or want -CC
I found my first NIFC today. 2019 Snowman
Wow! Very nice find! -CC
Finding an NIFC would be pretty amazing!!
Always got my eyes peeled just in case 👀
Great stuff Christopher & BCC 👍🏻
Ill cross my fingers for you 🤞 -CC
*As a dinosaur nerd myself, the DINSAURIA series is a must have. I have 2 of them. :)*
Very nice! They would have been fun to have in circulation too 👍 -CC

Woud love the winnie the pooh coins put into circulation amazing video.
That would have made for a really fun set to collect in change -CC
I think my fave set is the science set - closely followed by the dinosaurs!
They are lovely coins -CC

Found a 2019 Girl Guides, I hope the others from the set appear as well.
Wow! Very nice -CC
The only 50p missing in my collection is the Aquatics with the lines over the face. Thanks for sharing Christopher 👍
Would be a lovely coin to find -CC
Good video thanks 👍👍
Thank you! -CC
Nice one Christopher good information my favourite would be Stephen Hawking 😄👍
Thanks! That is a lovely coin design -CC

I wanted that one too 🤣🤣🤣 Decimal day would have been a lovely coin in circulation it tells such a fascinating story -CC

Would have been great to see Pooh in circulation!
It would have been such a fun set to collect! -CC

I have, the tinny ones have 5% more copper in the one I tested -CC
I hope they do a wrong trousers 50p with a feathers McGraw mugshot or wanted poster
Would be a great coin! -CC
John Logie Bird ? 🐦 😁
🤣🤣🤣 I try -CC

Morph
🤣🤣 that's the guy.

Yep 30 years sorry my bad! -CC
I found a Winnie the Pooh 50p today the 2020 original one and I found out that it was an NIFC I was made up 😀
Oh wow! What an amazing find! -CC
You missed the Kew Gardens out of the original coin set.
From the 2009 set? I didn't include that because then technically all coins in circulation have NIFC variants. -CC
I have indeed found one of these NIFC 50p coins in a hunt, the Stephen Hawking 😁
Stunning find! -CC
The Owl one is not bad.
There were some lovely designs throughout that collection -CC
Did you buy the BBC 50p released today?
Certainly did 👍 -CC
How much is the 2nd coin worth ? The blue Peter 1? I have 1
They were around £300 last I checked -CC
Hi I have 2 £5 coins can you please tell me what they would be worth. Thank you
📽️👍👍👍👍👍
😁👍 -CC
Is there a legal reason that stops you putting the Britannia Coin prices on the screen?
Nope. It is more that prices fluctuate so much over time we don't want people watching in the future to go away with a value that is too high or too low for the coins they have or want -CC
For me NIFC's are pointless. I would rather collect rare circulated coins.
That is a fair point -CC
I am animating u will u watch?
Sure! -CC
you should be more yourself. you dont seem to speak the same on this channel.
I take more care to speak at a pace that is easily followed on these videos that's about it 🤣 -CC
