    I love long earrings so much! These past years have been all about the hoop and I'm so tired of them, so I'm glad they're finally trending.

    • @Chicquette
      @Chicquette  9 місяців тому +1

      Same here. I like the hoops look, but I find them distracting to wear, bumping into clothes, unless it's summer. The long drop earrings are elongating the neck and somehow less bulky. I love them as well! Thank you for sharing 😘

    Do you already have any of these styles in your collection? The dainty low drop earrings have stayed with me since the '90s. I find them romantic in the colder months with a slender turtleneck and in the warmer months with an open neckline.

    Fun video! The mis-matched, or one large/one small earring trend was super popular in the mid-to-late 80s, right through the early 90s where we live (Quebec) - very intentional and so fun to see it back!

    Great video. What do you think of mixing and matching gold and silver tones? Is that okay?

    • @Chicquette
      @Chicquette  8 місяців тому +2

      Hi Angela. Thank you for your kind words. About mixing jewelry shades, I don't like them and I think they clash. It's a personal preference I suppose. Don't quite understand how some pieces are built like that mixing both, it's a detractor. In fact, if you pay attention to this detail, and make sure you match the metal in your clothes like buttons and zipper in synchrony, it can add subtle complexity to your overall outfit. Have a great day 😘

    The piercing holes in my ears have stretched out to the point I cannot wear stud earrings. The last time I wore my studs one of them went through the hole and I spent days looking for it. I finally found it my car. I would love to find a stud earring that the part through the ear was big enough to not work its way out of the piercing hole. Right now all I can wear are hoops. I love my diamond studs.

    Hello, where is right place to position a brooch on a jacket with lapel?

    • @Chicquette
      @Chicquette  10 місяців тому +8

      Hi! Here is a breakdown for you:
      1. Lapel Placement: The most common placement for a brooch on a jacket with a lapel is on the left lapel. This is the traditional placement and is often seen as more balanced and visually appealing.
      2. Positioning: The brooch is typically placed on the upper part of the lapel, closer to the shoulder. This allows the brooch to be more visible and adds a touch of elegance to the jacket.
      3. Balance and Symmetry: Consider the overall balance and symmetry of your outfit. If you are wearing other accessories or pins, make sure they are not too close to the brooch, as it can create a cluttered look. Leave some space between the brooch and any other accessories.
      4. Fabric Considerations: Take into account the fabric of your jacket. If the lapel is too thin or flimsy, it may not be able to support the weight of a heavy brooch. In such cases, it's best to choose a lighter brooch or consider placing it on a sturdier part of the jacket, such as the collar or pocket.
      Hope this helps. Have a great day Debbie! 😘
