It’s just personal preference. I can roll my paste thinner this way and find it a quicker way to attach the wires. You could make the petals with a veining board and insert the wires if you prefer. I just find it takes me longer so not as profitable when making lots of petals. Thanks for asking. Hope you enjoyed the tutorial? x

Just a question please, instead of twirling small amount of gum paste onto flower wires, what’s the difference from inserting it like all are doing?
