NITHub, UNILAG Marvel EU Delegates, GIZ

#TBT to Tuesday, January 30, 2024, when NITHub received for their first visit to the hub, a delegation of the European Union and German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) for interaction with and a tour of NITHub.
The delegates were officially welcome to the University of Lagos(UNILAG) by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development Services), Professor Ayodele Atsenuwa, who expressed the University’s appreciation for the Union’s support and that of its partners in actualising some of the vision of NITHub and by extension the University. Similarly, she appreciated the Digital Transformation Center Nigeria (DTC Nigeria) for being the link that bridges the gap between UNILAG and these visionary and innovation-driven institutions.
The lead delegate, an European Union (EU) Ambassador to Nigeria and ECOWAS, Samuela Isopi, shared her delight in visiting the Hub. She emphasised her love for the phrase “we are happy to change lives” used by Dr. Victor Odumuyiwa, the Director of NITHub, when he gave the visitors a tour of the hub.
She noted that it resonates with the European Union and GIZ’s cooperation and partnership with Nigeria.
