Tangi was my little brothers caretaker when he was at Children's Hospital. Her and my mom became friends and she would often visit the house to check on my little brother after he was sent home. She became a pretty close friend of the family and we cared for her deeply. I will never forget this time in our lives. A few years later, my little brother passed away. I found peace in thinking that at least Tangi would still be with him after passing. remnants of the crack era in New Orleans has hurt a lot of people man. I lost dozens of people from 1985 to 1999. So many people are just ghost in my memories.
Sorry for all the pain and heartache you've had to endure. It definitely takes a toll on you as I jus loss Moms a year ago and all the losses of her close family had her miserable💔 and longing to transition into the next life to be reunited with all those people 😔
I remember both mass murders, This one & The North Roman St. Murders. A friend of mine lives 1/2 block down on the corner of Marighny & N. Roman, and I attended High School with Tangi's brother. I've also heard stories that Benny & Andre may have attended Grambling State university together at one time
I heard them Ward neighborhoods in New Orleans are really tough.I think they are worse than the Ward neighborhoods in Houston but i dont know because Houston hoods are real stiff too.
Houston only got two wards and they nothing alike…New Orleans got 17 wards and way more wild than Houston it’s not even close…besides most of Houston hoods full of people from Nola now

Knowing it wasn't ideal for his son to be in the house with a street dude, and getting the call to confirm his worst nightmares. Unless they were outright demons, I know as they got older that had to mess with their minds.
