- We continue to learn about conditions in Swift, working with the switch case statement, then the ternary operator.
Part of a university course by Prof. John Gallaugher designed for the absolute beginner, where students will learn to program using Swift + SwiftUI. The course will move from no assumed prior programming experience while students learn fundamental, then intermediate and advanced concepts, culminating in a full stack app. Full free course playlist at:

I struggled with learning the ternary operator so much in the past, and this is the best explanation yet!
I really thought when you gave the example, that it is still not the ternary operator, and I was surprised when it was, because I actually got to understand it, for the first in a long time!
This is amazing!
Hey man, thanks for sharing your knoweldge! Your content is outstanding!
Wow! So kind of you. DM me an address if you’d like a laptop sticker. Cheers!
I have mastered the switch statement. Thanks for taking the time to make these!
This challenge was tough. I was not prepared to be able to have the Variable equal the Ternary Operator. That was my missing link. Lesson learned!
The challenge was hard, because we did not learn about BOOLs as far as I remember, I think we should have learned about that in order to solve the challenge.
Vos cours sont "parfaits" .. j'adore. Mais à mon niveau d'anglais je suis obligé de réduire de 50% la vitesse de la vidéo 😅
Merci. désolé je parle si vite, et que je ne parle pas français.
