This is literally the song they should be playing in ANY scene where the bad*ss is walking into the nightclub all slowly, looking for the villain. I mean, this song is all Underworld, Matrix, John Wick and Cyberpunk 2077 all rolled up into one. Phenomenal. I cannot peel myself away from listening to this. And does anyone else think it has a tinge of Middle Eastern / Mediterranean influence?
im late to the party but the middlepart of the song uses egyptian notes which would be phyrigian or its diminished h/f step (which has a bunch of the same notes) if you play the notes a bit simpler you can get quite a more edgy sound and stuff. essentially most evil-sounding metal is in diminished and phyrigian. though since theres metal distorted guitars instead of nice singing, it gives off different vibes. lol
The sidechain compression of the reverb of the vocals against the vocals themselves is amazing. You can hear it especially in the breakdown. Fills space, and makes it eerie. Love it

Trust me listen to delirium- Tiesto, Structure- Das licht, or some other old school trance songs. I'm so glad this music is making its way up bc I love trance and even tho most trance is dead, this gives me the same feeling that old school trance does. Hope this music catches on and replaces some of the more trendy, tasteless EDM out there.
