For number 2, rotation about an intermediate axis is unstable. Any perturbation causes rotation about another axis. Fun word: polhode!

      Please refer to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tennis_racket_theorem .

I like how you got the charged balloon one right and veritasium got it wrong.

Why this channel is so under rated

Was fun to watch you mess up the intermediate axis theorem - you could do a video on it to make up, since Derek never explained how it works.

maybe you could do a video on why a block of wood doesn't rotate around one of its axises. I'm still struggling to understand it, and I think you would do great with making one!

#2, There's famous footage of a letter T doing the same when spun on the ISS!

But there is still air on the ISS, if it was your point.

I think the phone thing has more to do with centrifugal effects. More mass of the phone is accelerating when flipped long ways (and less mass is close to stationary relative to the total velocity) so wobbling would be most pronounced with that technique of flipping it. Am I wrong?
EDIT: Upon further review this is definitely the intermediate axis effect, but it definitely qualifies as a centrifugal effect so I wasn't far off in my understanding.
