Niranjan bhai namaskar, you are right now India is 50 years behind China. So, practically India can never catch up with Chinese growth rate. This gap is going to keep increasing in future. Bhai, just to give you an example, look at garbage in streets in our towns. Our political system thinks that if one bullet train project starts we will be at par with Japan, China. Our biggest problem is government appointed officials, we will see there are very few dedicated officials or political leaders who are always on their toes. Rest are mostly worried about their financial status. These government officials know that they can't be held accountable for any incomplete jobs. They know political parties come to power for maybe 1/2 terms and they have enough time to manipulate and override any law. Just another example, in last 30 years how many national parties have come to rule our nation, but after spending thousands of crores of public money, we haven't been able to clean Yamunaji, forget about other major rivers. New ministers come to power and they travel overseas to see how other countries can keep rivers clean. They come back and prepare new projects with new budgets and after couple of months, once funds have been released, we don't hear any update. So, our problem lies in our government official system, where we need very strict monitoring, no matter which political party is in power. It's a huge task for our leadership to look into, just few people can't make system work.
China implemented market reforms in the 1980s, while India implemented market reforms in the 1990s. Under the leadership of the Indian National Congress, India lagged behind China by 10 years. Thanks to Prime Minister Modi and the leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party, India has significantly narrowed the gap with China. In five years, India will catch up with China.
China is under a dictatorship, while India is the world's largest democracy. In reality, the people of India live happier lives than the people of China.

This level of development is mind-blowing, which is why the US is also jealous. China took care of its people without invading any other country, just through pure hard work. It's a very significant achievement to bring so many people from lower class to middle and upper-middle class. This would never be possible in a democracy. I think for large populations like India and China, a communist or dictatorship system with a vision and a focus on common people can work. Democracy can work, but only in small countries like those in the West, and there should be no corruption. Indian politicians get elected because of corruption; they will never work for the common people as they have to pay back businesses and earn for themselves. I do not see any hope for India in the next 100 years or so.

An example of that is UK and Canada Europe ill effects of overpopulation same thing is happening in our country very high population in many places but infrastructure for it We cannot develop because we now have more population than we can support.Secondly, our landscape is never flat. So our development is hindered to some extent. Much of what you see in China today is agricultural land or flat land, and that's where most of China is Mongolian has the same seim topography with population and the population is confined to a certain region
