I just ordered this guitar today. Of course I thought I would watch a video about it. And of course, you had a video that was amazing to go with it. I freaking love your channel. Of all the UA-cam guys, you seem like the most normal guy to have a few beers with. And a few more beers for good measure.

@@barancelik74 I play it all the time. Stays in tune like a champ, is super comfortable, but REALLY needs a boost pedal…the pickups are pretty low output/thin depending on your rig.

Hilarious intro! I never thought I’d ever buy a relic. I just got one of these in red...it’s definitely a keeper. Hated to mess with anything because the setup was sweet when it was delivered. But, I put some Ernie Ball Skinny top heavy bottoms on there, adjusted the trem, and it was good to go.

These Vintera series guitars are incredible. I have the 50s Modified Telecaster, with the fatter of the different Soft V necks (which I think is the best neck in the business). If anybody's debating getting either a Strat or Tele version - you will not go wrong with is series.

Hahaha best intro yet. I'd like to wake up to an original Tele Deluxe with wide range PUs. "No, no. Age is just a number. You still have all the right moves. Like the best wines, you only get better as time goes by."

Nice demo!! Lots of great playing!! I bought one in Fiesta red about a week ago. MIM Strats have come a loooong way!! I love the way mine feels and sounds. The lightly relic'd look is well done too, and I used to hate relic'd guitars.

Another great video. Strats are the Swiss army knife of the guitar world, which makes the Tele a Bowie knife? Chef's knife? But Strats... shred, blues, funk, chicken pickin', they do it all.

Teles do more. You’d be surprised at just how many genres you’ll find teles. Arguably the single most versatile design ever. And i prefer strats too. Jus bc you have two more tonal options doesn’t mean they’re very versatile options. They say a good lp sounds like a hot tele for a rzn..

@@Coolbeans1492 I'm a Tele player, but I appreciate the flexibility of a Strat. The 2 and 4 positions give something Teles can't offer, unless you have a Nashville, which I'd rather have anyway.

I could easily see myself getting a Strat in that surf green (or else have it replace the sunburst finish of my current one). It cries Jeff Beck. Only, the Strat that I had custom assembled for me in 2019 has all but spoiled me against the blade selector and having only 21 frets.

Bought a LOT of American, MiM, Chinese, Indonesian, Squier, Sterling Cutlass,Silver Sky, and G&L “Strats” over the years. I would have preferred this one to have been under $1000, but the guitar is pound for pound one of the best I’ve had. Talking strictly Fender...the company will actually end up cannibalizing American Strat sales with solid MiM alternatives like this one and their price increases. That and making people look elsewhere. $1000 is a powerful threshold that they’ve crossed with MiMs, and not everyone will follow. I’m a little annoyed 🤔.
