Do not build XLP shocks this way. It increases the chance of air being sucked into the shock when piston is extended out. Follow Hagberg’s directions for building the shocks on his Facebook page that he posted today 13 December 2023.
You gently lay the bladder into the shock and do not push piston all the way up.
