tbf he's a bit underleveled. His Scadutree blessing is only +10 and he's lv149. It would be a better choice for him to explore more before coming back with better weapons and gears.

For anyone struggling with this fight, the Hefty Rot Pots inflict scarlet rot on him with 1 pot. It falls off when he switches phases but that means you'll only need 2. 1 to start the fight and then 1 as soon as phase 2 starts. It REALLY helped me beat this boss because this is definitely one of the harder ones in the DLC. Luckily, I managed to get him within the first 10 tries.
I highly recommend using quickstep for your ash. A lot of his slash attacks are more punishable if you roll into him then quickstep behind him. And you dont really get openings to use any offensive ashes. Other option is to just tank with endure.
I'm currently on him, 2nd phase with convert damage into hp tear and solitude knight armor so far are good for his holy damage, I'm getting close hopefully I can beat him before you 😅
The fact that there are moments he stomped on your dead body makes it mean more when you finally get him❤❤❤❤ can't wait 🔥🔥🔥legit question though is his super saiyan 1 stronger than Goku at SS3???
@Let me solo her if you don't mind try to use Antspur Rapier with ash of war Poisonous Mist blood infusion. 3 status effects in one weapon poison, rot and blood.
In bloodborne dlc Lada Maria was on the cover and Orphan of Kos was the final boss. Same with dks1. Artorias was on the cover but Manus was the final boss. They always want to keep the final boss hidden till the last minute.
For the same reason the Elden Beast wasn't on the box cover of the base game. Why reveal all their cards? I had the exact opposite reaction - when Miquella referred to me as "champion of the festival" and I saw radahn's swords I about lost it. Original, maddened Radahn took me more attempts on my first kill when the game came out than Radagon or Malenia did. Seeing him again in the DLC, I knew I was in for it. The consort boss fight was glorious, tough but fair. Harder than Radagon/EB for sure but maybe not as hard as Malenia, kind of a sweet spot. Around 20 attempts with my Quickstep/Bleed Milady build.

Please don't listen to the people hating. We ALL went through this process. It took 22 hours for me to beat this boss (Scadu level 13) and it took me using two greathammers and endure to muscle my way to phase 2 within a few seconds which is where the real fight began. It feels great once you get his moves down, but again, NO ONE is a natural at this fight, and it's insane that people can't realize that even legendary players like yourself need time to learn, and that should be fully expected. Respect for streaming the process of you learning; it's nice to see that legends aren't just naturally better, but just have the patience and dedication to get better. You'll get him down before you know it, but he mega sucks until then lol
Imma say it, I used mimic tear. Just me and my mimic going at him. I tried using the shield poking strat but I didn’t like it. Ended up going at it till I got some good rng. Entered the final phase with 6 flasks instead of 3-4

Just beat consort Radahn today. If I may humbly offer some advice I realized that really helped me in the fight (I'll update this comment as I watch more of the vod): - Phase 2 has a key similarity with Slave Knight Gael's phase 2 / 3. The trick to the combos with holy damage followup is that you not only need to know when to dodge, but also where to dodge. Typically what works is always dodging to your left, save 2 combo finishers (iirc) that you need to dodge to the right because the holy damage is applied on the other side. - If you stand still at the start of phase 2, chance are he's more likely to open with the explosion. - Phase 2 meteors are typically followed by phantoms. After dodging the meteors (and this only works if you don't get hit by the meteors), immediately strafe diagonally back-right for 4 phantoms, then roll the 5th instance of damage backwards. AFTER Radahn pulls his blades out of the ground, there will be holy damage followup - roll back into him to avoid that. - 25:28 - Sprint sideways, then jump in the same direction that you are sprinting just before the first meteor hits the ground near you. You're doing fantastic - all of us got shafted on this boss in some way at some point. Just keep at it!
You and me both, this boss is laying me out. I’m like 3 hours in and I haven’t cracked 50% yet. I’ve died 3-4 attack strings into 2nd phase each time. Truly a rough fight.

to answer your question Radahn is not in Mohg's body. Mohg's soul was sacrificed so Radahn could fully resurrect and yes he is enthralled to Miquella. That is Miquella's power, the power to "steal your heart" which is why all of the people you meet along the way end up fighting against you despite you helping them and showing them that you are also a capable lord. I just wish they would have had Ranni involved if you had completed her questline since she is also attempting to overthrow the old Order and start her own thousand year reign and you are her Consort as Radahn has (apparently unwillingly) become Miquella's (which is incestuous and predatory on Miquella's part if we're being honest and we also owe Mohg a big apology...
it is mohg's body with radahn's soul in there. you can get dialogue from ansbach that mentions mohg's body being carried off. the biggest indication are the horns on consort radahns arms

Try quickstep ash to gap close faster and get more damage in. Burn him with your best bleed 2H in p1 and switch to a shield/bleed 1h in p2 because of his stupid echo attacks that can't really be dodged but are easy to block.
If you want to change ur build I have a suggestion. I put on the tree sentinel set and used the guts great sword and basically spammed lions claw and just traded with him. Got him on my third try with that build after trying for hours before.
After not playing the game for a long time (i got 100% and went back to getting my ass kicked by inner isshin) i thought as the dlc is coming out i started a fresh character, i forgot how brutal this game can be even when you managed to 'git gud' 😂 not even started the dlc yet.. 🤣
Keen great katana + two hand talisman + guard counter talisman + deflect hard tear = my hands hurt and I need to slow my heart rate. I used mimic but the other two NPC I could summon actually made the fight harder for me because I would do less damage. So just me and my mimic. Good luck Solo,

I finally beat him today after 5 hours of attempts using a cold infused backhand blade with one flask remaining.. I kinda wish I learned the fight better before killing him but I was so sick of this stupid phase 2 😭 the positioning in phase 2 is just tooo precise
this doesn't even look remotely enjoyable. i'm glad some people find intrinsic value in getting good though. it's very impressive how skilled some people are at these games. i'll never be one of them, i would much rather spend my free time going on a walk and feeding the ducks in the park or something.
Everyone who went legit and didnt do the blood arm blood arm build (every video explaining how to do it recognizes the cheese) went through this. Even then - that build straight up needs to survive 5 mins opposed to 10

Was up at 2 AM last night and finally beat him. Took me about 10-11 hours total and I adjusted my build slightly twice. Even went back and got an extra scadu blessing level at one point
@@pathfinder9401 I actually did parry him… Although I will speak on behalf for others. Not everyone WANTS to beat bosses by parrying. Doesn’t fit everyone’s play styles.
If you did some NPC quests, you can summon two extra NPCs to help you, plus your mimic, it would end up being a 4v1 which can be relatively easier to deal with. Also make sure you get some holy damage negation buffs and the talisman. The 2nd phase deals 99% all that. Or you can be like me, get the Golem Smith sprit ash and some healing spells, and watch it solo Radahn.
@@wzx6x6z6w this is lowkey great advice, especially since character summons generally happen outside the door so your summoning ritual won't get interrupted by the opening AOE. Wish I read this before I nearly lost my sanity with this fucker.

Such a bullshit boss. This one move he does after the rock sling with his clones is almost unavoidable. The boss is fine except that one move.

mimic tear, lvl 20 scadutree, hopes and prayers and 2 days to burn.
If you did some NPC quests, you can summon two extra NPCs to help you, plus your mimic, it would end up being a 4v1 which can be relatively easier to deal with. Also make sure you get some holy damage negation buffs and the talisman. The 2nd phase deals 99% all that. Or you can be like me, get the Golem Smith sprit ash and some healing spells, and watch it solo Radahn.
@@wzx6x6z6w this is lowkey great advice, especially since character summons generally happen outside the door so your summoning ritual won't get interrupted by the opening AOE. Wish I read this before I nearly lost my sanity with this fucker.

You can just tank Radahn with a shield like let me tank him but yeah try that on Malenia who just heals from the hits regardless now you have an endless fight "harder than Malenia" my ass... people have no clue what they're talking about and what actual difficulty means
