The only character that I feel the Nick All Star Brawl team can't ignore is Timmy he was the second face of Nickelodeon next to SpongeBob back in the early 2000s. Hope he gets added if we get more DLC!

I feel like Hugh's stage is probably going to be the Candy Bar, referencing the episode where he becomes cool (the motorcycle in the trailer came from that same episode, so I can see them pulling a lot of his moveset from there, wouldn't be surprised if his outfit from that episode was his alt). If they add Jimmy, his stage would probably be his lab.

I love how they were all revealed on Friday the 13th, Jenny shocked me, Hugh Neutron blew me away and Rocko was a pleasant surprise! Dora and Blue from Blue’s Clues are my distant wanteds but I I’m honestly fine with anyone. More single player content and game modes would be great to have.

Considering the way things have been going, with Gamemill and Ludosity listening to the fans, I am pretty sure we’ll get Timmy, Jimmy, and El Tigere at some point. I hope this game finally picks up momentum if more fan requested characters get added, even meme characters like Hugh Neutron. Now that XJ9 is added and got Rocko coming later, I am really satisfied with this game.
If Doug did ever get in, he’d be like the sora in smash, both being owned by Disney but allowed by disney
As someone who grew up with some of the Nicktoons Unite games, something neat about Jenny is that her alt costume here is the same as her bonus costume in Attack of the Toybots. Likely a coincidence (and it being the most obvious pick for an alt) but still brings me back

Your logic and list of characters is sound and I could definitely see this in the future. One itty bitty thing though, I would personally like to see at least one of the other Loud sisters get into the game. If The Loud House is being built up as the "next SpongeBob", or so I've heard, the series could use more rep to back it up.
Perhaps if Timmy IS unattainable, they could have Luna or Luan take his place, hmm?

I'm glad they mentioned what's going on with cross play. Wish the devs didn't have to deal with so much from the marketing team and nickelodeon though. Just seems they could use some help.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how much the character renders have improved?? The lighting and stylisation is leagues better than the base game. Just look a DLC render compared to a base character like Patrick or Nigel.

I personally think Sqidward and Zuko are a lock at this point, as they both just seem to be missing from their respective series and would round off the representation of their series perfectly imo.
Angry Beavers also seem like a valuable choice as they would represent a new series, are marketable and also highly requested as characters whose series isn't represented yet.
Fairly Odd Parents would also be a shoe in if there wouldn't be this rights-issue thing. But if we leave that aside I can see Ludosity also throwing us a curveball with not having Timmy as a representative of his own series - as it might seem strange to see him throwing hands himself as this would be rather contrary to his nature portrait by the show. So, I can see some one else being added instead like Jorge, Crimson Chin or Timmy's Dad as he would be very marketable in completing the trinity of wierd Dads from Nickelodeon shows haha.
Last spot (considering we really get 5 more) would be a wild card who also scored high in the fan polls like El Tigre, Snap, Otis, Skipper or Blue.

one thing I want to add to this is that Hughes voice actor said on twitter that Hugh being added to the game was news to him as well. Unless he's lying, or their using another Voice actor, OR if they're using already recorded lines from the shows - this doesn't bode well for the game getting voice acting anytime soon. (although i feel crossplay is more important).
id assume it would be prerecorded stuff if its anything, just using the lines from their show or something. gotta be very expensive to call in the actors to record new stuff

Personally, I think all the non-video game media companies should make their own platform fighting games. That way people will stop asking to put their characters in Smash and start asking to put them in NASB, Multiversus, etc. instead. 😊

After seeing 24 spaces for character profile icons left after Jenny's were added, and each character gets 3, I think it's safe to assume we're getting at least 6 more characters after Hugh and Rocko.
I’m thinking only 5 more like PapaGenos said, because after this first wave is done there will be 15 spaces left and if one character fills 3 of those spaces, only 5 characters could fit into all of those spaces
I agree. 2 more Season Passes after the current one seems to be the most realistic outcome we could get afterwards if the DLC continues on from there.

In all seriousness though I feel like we’re definitely going to get the rest of the main SpongeBob characters. Mr. Krabs with the Krusty Krab, Plankton with the Chum Bucket, and Squidward could have Tentacle Acres as a stage and maybe he could use the leaf blower from that episode as a double jump or something, that would be funny. Also I feel like we’ll get the rest of the turtles at some point too and Zuko, as far as stages go maybe April’s Apartment for Raph (kind of a reference to the movie), Dimension X for Donnie, and of course the Fire Nation ships for Zuko.

As told by ginger is one of my favorite nicktoons. It's in my top 10. What's crazy is no character from this show has ever appeared in any nick crossover game as a playable character. I think carl and hoosey would work in nick all-star brawl. Maybe even miranda since she's popular on stan twitter lol. People keep reposting the clip of her saying, "let me pretend I care. Okay, I'm done".

I could absolutely see them palette swapping Leo and Mikey for Don and Raph respectively. Maybe even give them they're own Turtles Prime skins too. They wouldn't have to add stages or make new movesets (just swap the weapons while keeping the hit boxes), but could still charge a small premium for them.
I still feel like SpongeBob is a 2000s show as only 22 episodes aired in 1999 while the rest was in the 2000s and 2010s.
its weird zim/fairly odd parents (which maybe the early oh yeah cartoons pilots might have aired in the 90s?) spongebob etc... were right on the line of 99-2000, i consider them part of "90s nick" even if they were technically at the end, they were being made in the 90s for sure
While Norbert and Daggett are my most wanted, I am already loving the roster we have so far and am ok with any characters that they add. I will say that I do lean more into having a variety of series represented than more characters from already represented series.

In terms of these character predictions, I feel like this pretty much hits the nail on the head. However, I have some concerns about what comes with them. I am beyond confident that the stage we will get with Hugh is going to be the Candy Bar, as that's associated with sweets and in line with two of his most significant meme moments, one of which is already in his moveset. Since the first pack was called the universe pack, I feel that was in reference to them adding in new characters with each choice, and with your predictions, I'd call Jimmy and Timmy the Power Hour Pack like you mentioned and Squidward, Angelica, and Zuko the Grump pack as that's one of the defining traits that they share. I think Jimmy's gonna get his lab as a stage, with the first walk-off only stage to be in the game, and Timmy's gonna get Fairy World, more specifically the rainbow bridge. Squidward is probably gonna get the houses as his stage due to just how iconic that lineup is, Angelica is probably either gonna get the playpen or the playground from the bully episode and Zuko will get the navy fleet as his stage. But that's just my guess.

I think Jimmy and Timmy are still coming to the game after rocko and hugh, there fan favorites and there also the most wanted characters for the game, my bet is that the next wave of characters will be them with someone else like el tigre who will fit with the theme. Hugh stage can easily be the candy bar and jimmy stage could be his lab for sure. Heres some characters that i would like to see in the game besides jimmy and timmy:

-zuko
- dudley puppy
- el tigre
- kitty kastwells
- mr krab
- miko kubota
-otis
- snap or rudy tabootie
- luna loud
For me this is the character line up i would like to see for the game, but ill be satisfied with jimmy and timmy if we dont get all of them that i mention on the list .
I'm predicting we won't see any DLC beyond this batch. As fun as this game is, it's not profitable enough to get a second season of DLC

Jenny seems to be selling very well, a lot of people in the Nick Brawl comp scene\community seems to have brought her, and there's also the obvious fact the one of the devs (diego) said back in december that we would be getting a bunch of DLC characters, and thaddeus also said this when asked about Jenny, Hugh, And Rocko being the only DLC characters. "We're not done, not by a long shot" yeah, we're getting more DLC. Too many factors
I think if it sells well enough a second season is inevitable

His normal design is too small to have a fair hitbox, so he needs to be piloting one of his mechs, and that’s the most iconic of them.
You know it be cool to do a video maybe going over the different fan polls out there for DLC fighters. Maybe like going over the character and why they are up there so high and their potential.
Maybe even talk about who was consider in the polls where they didn’t make the top 20.

I think personally we could get 10 or 11 more dlc Characters going by the online icons cause Character gets roughly 2 or 3 each and there’s enough blank spots for 10 or 11 more after rock depending on if the last character has 1 or 3 icons with them

It’s pretty cool that the post made before Jenny’s reveal is not only a reference to Jenny’s creator (Nora Wakeman), but it’s also a reference to a music video based on Dexter’s Lab (with Dexter himself also being a scientist). The funny thing is that Rob Renzetti, the creator of My Life As A Teenage Robot, was one of the showrunners for Seasons 1 & 2 of Dexter’s Lab.
Considering how popular Jimmy Neutron and the Fairly odd parents is I think if this game does gets a second dlc pass it'll most likely be a Jimmy-Timmy pack or at least one of them being added.
I also kinda doubt Rugrats will get a 2nd rep that Rugrats isn't really that popular in polls, my guess is that they'll either add The Angry Beavers or El Tigre instead of a 2nd Rugrats rep (If we're assuming the final roster will be around 30)
Lastly I think the game will definitely have more than 30 fighters but less than 40 considering that Jenny and Hugh announcement alone made the game trending on Twitter.

You should check out Glitch Techs, a Nicktoon series on Netflix all about gaming and capturing glitches, and people like you should convince Nickelodeon that we want more of the show!

In the latest fan poll Ickis placed number 3, with Squidward and Timmy placing number 1 and 2 respectively. I could definitely see him being a dlc fighter since he’s also a main character besides Oblina and he was in some other Nicktoons crossover games like Nicktoons Racing for the PS1.
Man I can see them doing a pack for tmnt only labeled like New Yorks finest or heros in a half shell pack with Ralph, Donnie and maybe Casey or Kraang?

I would happily take Jorgen Von Strangle as a FOP rep. I am a big Jimmy fan but would be fine with Hugh as the only rep. But I will say a Jimmy Timmy pack sounds right up my alley. I kinda like having these background characters as fighters though. Im not hoping for more TMNT but Squidward or Plankton would be cool. Zuko feels inevitable, and Otis definitely has meme potential. I've had that idea for a Legends of the Hidden Temple Level since I first saw this game announced. I think it would be so awesome for them to do that! For characters I'd like : Jimmy, Timmy, Tommy Pickles, Angelica Pickles, Angry Beavers, Squidward, Skipper, Zuko, Otis and I think Blue from blues clues as a rep for nick jr would be amazing xD

Adding Fairly Oddparents Characters are Possible for 2 Reasons Nickelodeon still has some Rights to the Franchise biggest Example being the God Awful Unholy Garbage Live Action Series they Created and DLC has advantages if they Sell Out Well with a Contract so it Isn't Out of the Question,the Characters I would love to see the Most are Jimmy Neutron,Timmy Turner,Donatello,Raphael,Squidward(the Stage could be the Neighborhood),Mr.Krabs, Plankton,Katara,Zuko,Dogleg Puppy,Kitty Kattell,Vlad Plasmius,Dan Phantom,Embe McClain(If not Luna Loud),Desarei,Vexus, Po,and Tigress,I know it's Alot but there's a Huge Possibility for Fan Favorites or Characters with a Smaller Fanbase.

I feel like the next pack/s should include one for villains (Crocker, Vlad Plasmius, & Black Cuervo) and another one for popular characters from represented franchises (Zuko, Squidward, and Luna Loud). Not sure about a nick jr. pack, Live action pack, and the Timmy and jimmy power hour duo though
One thing I think they NEED to add is a final attack like how smash bros has the final smash ...So much meme potential for each character to get a Super Move lol

also everyone asking for timmy and jimmy. but i was more of a fan of chalk zone so rudy would be the choice i would love to see. another series that needs another rep should be a hey arnold rep. when i thought 90ths nick it was rugrats and then hey arnold, we should get arnold, helga by herself sorta bugs me. plus he is the same age range as timmy, jimmy, the loud house duo, and even rudy, and i think if the babies are out of the picture you can just go with there all grown up version which are in the same age range. and for 2000 i also thought of spongbob, fairy odd parents, jimmy neutron, rocket power, and avatar
If you noticed that Danny Phantom & My Life as a Teenage Robot also have the same distributor with The Fairly Oddparent and they got their characters in this game. If Hugh gets the Candy Bar stage and if Jimmy is not in the background, then maybe Jimmy is still considered, and his home stage would be his own lab. I also would love another Spongebob rep and a new Avatar rep like Zuko in this game, that would be amazing.
If Disney could allow Sora to appear in Smash, they should allow Doug to appear in Nick All-Star

but I feeel like we need a bit more villains in the game. Maybe like a Halloween event where you fight nick villains like vlad, plankton,Crocker, azula, and more to unlock them.

I know you consider it weird for there to be a franchise with more reps than Spongebob, but Pokémon only has fewer reps than Mario because of Pokémon Triner being 3 characters in one. While I think Squidward is a good character choice if the developers don't they don't need to hold back other franchises to meet a quota even Smash doesn't really keep.
If we don't get Mr Krabs or Squidward, I want a curveball like bubble bass, Larry the lobster or when voice acting gets added, add Fred and his iconic MY LEG line when he dies. I definitely do not expect plankton to get in because he is a ball in one of the game modes, and the opposite of the ridley argument: he's too small.
