I disagree. By what metric do you think it is "much better"? Not sure if you've owned both as I have but I don't think it is better at all. It doesn't sound better to me, for a start. I got the sound I wanted at the level I played, roughly 3 and it does not sound better than the Blackstar. The Blackstar also takes the Boss OD200 better or at least differently. Everything I liked on the OD200 with the Twin remains but a distortion that didn't sound good on the Twin now sounds great on the Blackstar. Ultimately it is all preference and we all have our own preferences and requirements. The only thing I would say is better on the Twin is the Reverb. Sound, portability & features are all better on the Blackstar.
@@PerputuallyCensored There's no way the clean sound on the blackstar is anywhere near the clean sound on a twin reverb. Get real. Plus you can sell a twin for a hell of a lot more than you can get for a blackstar.
Nice setup!
Very nice review of the Blackstar.Could you please tell me what the amp width is in inches, thanks.
I'd have been keeping the twin personally. Much better amp. It's more used for it's clean tones and you don't have to crank it to get those.

@@JohnVieto So you haven't actually owned both Amps then to form an informed opinion nor tested both out. Good for you. Carry on.
It's only 2 pounds lighter than a Fender Deluxe Reverb; 40 lbs vs 42 lbs.
I had the Twin, you're talking about a different Amp, and I can assure you, it is much much heavier than the HT-20 MK III.
@@PerputuallyCensored Ya, the twin is a beast to move without a dolly or extra hand. 40 lbs ain't light though.
