It's interesting to see the differences between US and Swedish rail accident recovery. To me, the Swedish recovery process looks safer and more efficient
Apparently the get right to it instead of closing the line for a week while they "Investigate" It seems that in recent times the US has become hide bound with procedures, investigations, reports and every sort of official entity that can be thought of has to get in on the act.
@@organbuilder272 in germany its the same overloaded bürocratia for any job. for millions its better and safer to be an "important" person in an office for one micro piece of the bürocratia, than to work anywhere to make a solution or getting the job done...
they had luck, that the crash side was really easy to achieve with small amount of gravel and enough space for the crane(s) and trucks... on an other much more difficult site it would have taken much longer...especially in protective nature areas
What??? Nooo! "SPLAT" is something completely different, perhaps when someone lands after falling from the 20th floor, or if someone slaps you in the face with a large trout. Something like this says "CRASH", possibly also "SCREEEEECH" and "RUMBLE", perhaps even "KABOOM" if there's explosive cargo.
If somebody has tell this earlier so exuse me, it's a Rc2 engine leading, we don't have any RD2 engines in Sweden. Yup I don't like that bad American voice :)
So this one popped into my feed. Interesting timing since a massive freight train went of track recently again.

@@MrDriftspirit Big agree on that.
Ouch, good fortune the shunter were unmanned. Looks like it could've gone really bad if not. Great video!
Thanks!
So the robots they trusted, wound up getting the train busted? How much did that cost?
what a mess glad nobody was hurt. very smootly done in a timely manner. thank you.stay safe.
The recovery looked smooth.
Great job on the video👍🏻
Videos are getting better every time. Another excellent one 👍
Thanks! I think this one will be hard to beat next time ;))
Great video. Shame it wasn’t longer though.🇬🇧
4:33 how many attachments can you put on one piece of equipment? 😃
That's a Huddig, they are made in Sweden and super versatile. There are a lot of fun videos of them on UA-cam if you search for Huddig.
These videos are so well put together. Hat's off to ADVideofilm!
Thanks!
02:51 - How did they rotate that huge container?
With ropes and manpower..
Proper railway-work weather, rain, cold and mud. Good that no-one was hurt.

My goodness what a mess! very cool video!:)
Thanks!
Bra jobbat med uppstädningen.. Ordning och reda
Imagine the sound from that crash!

I'm no expert but "GREAT JOB,GUYS".
Man, THAT shunter is totalled..
Was I seeing things or did the rear axles of that lowboy trailer turn to steer the back end?
Yes right, the rear axles are steering. Thats normal in Sweden
Thank you for the reply. Very nice recovery operation! Very efficient.
Actually, it's normal anywhere extra maneuverability of a long load is required. Think hook and ladder fire equipment.
Well done all the crew and their team performance.
Awesome workmanship!
2 days to clean that mess? Damn. Sweden ain't fucking around.
that's a lot of paperwork..
That would be a tough workout. 1 man, a set of tools,a rope and 1 day to clear the track.
Cool weekend gig.
What an appropriate marking on one of the hoppers...
SPLAT
All this video needs is the introductory theme song to Dragnet.
Good thing that wasn't an oil tank train. Remember Lac-Megantic, Quebec.
908kg kallas short ton
"här behöver man ingen YKB" xD haha
Very good video, Subscribed
Thanks!
You should make more videos like this and previous :)
Thanks! Stay tuned!
fortsätt med berättarrösten, den är bra.
CRAZY TO THINK, THAT IF IT WAS'NT FOR THE OIL SEALS IN THOSE RAMS WERE ABLE ENOUGH TO DO THE JOB, IT ONLY NEEDS ONE TO BLOW,;
Seems like people like your USA narration.I don't. I'm glad there's a mute but quite liked the old Swedish background soundtrack.
