Not every game set in Japan is Ghost of Tsushima. They didn't invent feudal japan. It isnt a ghost of tsushima clone since the game was announced before GoT was even planned to be a PC port. If AC Shadows was a GoT copy, Ubisoft wouldn't release it 4 years later.
I've noticed that people like to make that their main argument that AC Shadows, for some reason, is a GoT clone. Even if it was it would be better than GoT at some things and vice versa. Don't get me wrong GoT is a enjoyable game but the open world is very dull and empty, something that AC thrives in - making the world feel alive. On the other hand GoT's combat mechanics are on a whole other level - something which AC can't do with it's current engine.
Other than the setting, the games are totally different and comparing them makes no sense. Would you compare a car and a motorcycle? No you wouldnt. So why do we need to love one and hate the other?
Garbage take there’s nothing but fetch quest in Ac nowadays pointless missions and a hud that blinds you
@@machineferret3359 Did you even comprehend what you read? Or you didn't even read the comment to the end? I never said GoT was bad and AC good, I said that both games are unique to themselves and both excel at the stuff the other fails at.
@@machineferret3359 Sounds like GoT to me. Need to chase more foxes or what?
@@shreyway12Gladly, foxes are cute and you jest, but each one was differently done. Unlike raiding the same castle 100 times over.
@@IWontBuy-RP you just follow it what else is there to do? Obviously they would be in different locations. No different than each outpost being different. Wait a second, ghost of Tsushima had mongol camps too that you had to go around doing. Don’t forget the haikus where it doesn’t matter what you pick lol. People don’t realize GoT is just a Ubisoft game at its core.
I don't agree . I am Assassin Creed fam but not Ghost Of Tsushima. And I would play Assassin Creed themed Japanese game but not Ghost Of Tsushima
Assassin's Creed shadow it's ghost of tsushima just like cod is medal of honor
I rather play Rise of the Ronin than Ass-Creed Shadows.
Ubisoft just aren’t a triple a company anymore. Zero creativity, zero talent, all developers fired or left without pay. And of course sweet baby inc. the black samurai isn’t even important the gameplay speaks for itself they just copied everything. Parkour still garbage. But hey at least the young kids playing the new ac with have a decent game to play
Dumb take. You obviously know nothing about this game. Conspiracy theorist sounding like a flat earther LOL. "Black Samurai isn't important" yet every piece of dialogue mentions him being black and foreign, and we haven't even seen the story yet. Nothing more retarted than you guys spamming these comments talk about copy and paste.
It's not out yet. Shut up. And your that mad about one character's race? Freakin grow up.
Tenchu's Creed ghost of Ronin's die twice.
Lol
Ghost of Tsushima is mainly centered around 1 island, Shadows will be much larger and include more historical sites and weapon types (sad to only be able to use a Katana in Ghost of Tsushima since Samurai used other weapons) and you can’t be a shinobi in Ghost of Tshushima, in AC you can make decisions as well while Ghost of Tsushima is linear very different games
Did you not actually play GoT? The whole point of the "ghost" part of ghost of tsushima is being a shinobi. Becoming a shinobi from a samurai is kinda the whole point of the game.
@@toddfarrington19 Even some of the end game and Iki armor sets have samurai stance gameplay style bonuses so you can choose which way you play
@@Lilpiktdude You talk as if you have played shadows, remember never trust a ubisoft (or any) game from the trailers and descriptions. Come back to this comment after the game launches and we'll see
@@samyak5386 The things that I said you can do are already shown to be true in the game
@@Lilpiktdude cool dude let's see how it is at launch
Considering GOT was literally called AC in Japan.... No matter what AC would have done people would have said it copied GOT.. There are just so many ways to covincingly wield a katana
There ARE things that I think this game will do better than Ghost. Like castles and weapon variety. Yasuke is shown to use a Kanobo, Katana, and Polearm. And it seems the castles will be bigger and more interactible. Plus you will be fighting actual SAMURAI and not just Mongols.
Every game is inspired by one or another game, book or movie or whatever really useless point to make and second just because shadows is set in Japan doesnt mean its a copy ghost of tsushima didnt invent Japan
AC shadows will never be as good as Ghost of Tsushima
I would be so hyped for an AC2 and AC1 remake.
Its exactly like the last AC game but in japan, so shite.
honestly not that interested, i'd almost rather just play through ghost agian.
And miss out on the chance to use more weapons, explore bigger castles, fight actual Samurai, and meet historical figures?
@@ThisChannelIsAbandoned300 Have to vote with your dollar, its the only thing these companies understand.
@@ThisChannelIsAbandoned300 The only reason i would play an open world Samurai game would be to indulge in the fantasy and role play as an actual Samurai.
Hard to immerse myself in that kind of a way when you play as such a unique and distinctive character.
AKA with a question mark ... Look AKA means "also know as" and a question mark represent an unknown. So is it know or not know?
yes
The same thing that happened to movies is going to start happening with gaming. No originality, everyone is gonna start cannibalizing other gaming structures until everything feels stale. I'm honestly still shocked that Assassin's creed has survived this long, especially when they haven't done anything original since Assassin's Creed 2
I'm honestly in agreement with you on the AC surviving take. There's a part of that's shocked by it. Especially after multiple misses.
@@SparkE3 It's just like, they've chased so many trends I often wonder what even constitutes an AC game at this point.
