- As gorgeous as it is, the Western Frontier in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora can be unforgiving, especially when jumping in for the first time. If it's not the RDA that's out to get you, it's the wildlife which can attack at a moment's notice or scrounge for different materials.
Fortunately, there are several ways to survive. Hunting without guns to ensure the best materials, various Skills, and the Hunter's Guide are just some ways to thrive in the wilderness and gain an edge. Of course, completing some side quests for better gear also doesn't hurt.

@@geminimac613i only did a few side quests to upgrade (progress?) before getting ikran. i honestly dread ever restarting game without ikran because flying around with them is just so fun
@@geminimac613 yes but it cost resources to travel, ikran doesn’t use hardly any, and it makes collecting field labs easier, its also only 2 hours in, i wouldn’t use field labs unless i had to go very far until you get the upgrade to fast travel for free.
also remember when shooting the bow, the arrows arc down (as they should) so use the lines below the center circle when fully drawn back to adjust your aim for distant targets. and when fighting an rda in a mech suit, if you can shoot them in the head (the pilot) they'll die in one hit, even on hard mode. it'll save time when fighting them and avoid the suit's heavy machine gun damage. don't forget to setup traps with the slip string thrower you get for doing the 3rd story mission with alma.
some reviews had me bummed but seems like this game is split. im looking forward to playing it

Don’t listen to them the game is visual amazing it feels smooth when running through the world. Easy to get lost in. It’s a great game

@connermaher8550 yea im enjoying apparently because i have abou 70 hours into the game and haven't even covered the entire map. As you progress and fabricate new armor the game really seems to open up and give you endless possibilities
@@connermaher8550 yES IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE VISUAL PLEASING 4 ALL THAT PLAYES IT!! But its far from the truth actually 1 am 1 of the people that has maxed out settings n tried all from low to high n still have a foggy blurry mess that makes flying my ikran next to impossible!!
Why is it this way??? Nobody seems to know that(sadly) I have tried for since dec 2023 to find a working fix,But nope up to month of april it was still this way and i had enough due to it was close to unplayable for me...
Would i recomend this game??? Hell no...But thats pretty clear why i dont!!
If anyone knows for sure how to fix this blur n fog(its not normal game fog+settings that has anything to do with it was on lowest n still 2m of sight maby even 3m at best depending on area on the AVATAR MAP....

I’m watching this as I am struggling with everything but I am still enjoying it so much but also because I’m a huge fan of the movies. For people who might not even game much or even just in general, this game is pretty difficult. Like the first introduction mission i wandered off in the wrong direction trying to climb the cliff 5 different times before my dumb self figured it out. Anyways just saying 😂
lol finding the three tap members who are chilling by the flower for your first ancestor flower? yeah i did the same thing lol. it said northwest of the oil plant up a cliff... well i went that direction.. or so i thought lmao. i found a bellsprig up on the cliff though (where you meet Nor and see an Ikran flying away with the ubisoft credits start appearing on screen) lol fun times though. love doing this game in exploration mode instead of guided. you really need to read whats going on and follow the compass and directions. you'll eventually find your objective.
@@MiBrCo4177ha ha!!! I did exactly the same thing I spent about two hours hunting in that area!! It was only in frustration that I jumped from the cliff where you meet Nor and realised you could actually survive that dive and little did I know I’d be needing that knowledge soon!!
Good to know beforehand what to look for and how to find it in massive open-world games.
Get your ikran first then play some side quests. The game is honestly fun. If you’re a fan of the movie, get it. If you’re used to ubisofts formula and don’t mind it? Get it
just bought the gold edition im 30 mins in and this is by far the best looking game ive ever played im on ps5

Anyone able to suggest a way to locate amp commandos after completion and wiping out all RDA locations? I’m current stuck on 97% completion of all achievements but this apex challenge seems to have me at a halt…

You can hack the RDA turrets/Sentry's, just gotta get close up enough, and also the annoying AMPs! To make it easier go to your gameplay settings and turn ON Auto SID Hack and auto SID lock on!! It makes things so much better and you can go around and take out everyone in stealth and compete outposts without them even knowing your invading them and what's about to come. Plus you get more loot when they don't know your there and complete the outpost without a single person knowing your around. Make sure to have the silent steps perk!

just got this game two days ago. I love how it does everything we've seen so far, and done so far in games of this nature, and handles it differently. the menu layout could be a bit different and is a tad confusing at times, but so far i am loving it. I can't quite get my HDR settings on the game itself to fit but atm certain scenarios, like when there is a thunder and heavy wind; it looks phenomenal and really brings out the ps5 graphical power (not quite, but does a damn good job) and show's us what is capable with consoles so far.

Definitely not true for everyone. I see lots of Ubisoft fans (AC/FC/WD) who do not "get" this game. We understand *we* are the problem, though, and that many people are having a blast with it.
+AVATAR where exactly in this game has these visuals(without blurry n fog that make me se almost 2m infront of me at best)its like playing in pea soup and flying my ikran is impossible due to cant see farther then his nose+1meter longer and this is what i payed full price for!???
Im actually not alone wityh this problem n no fix was available that worked(i should mention i tried for many days n searched around n tried all crappy ideas to fix this w nothing working n probably even making this worse in the end)
Reinstalled game more then 10 times by last month n gave up then.....Is this how AVATAR is supposed to be looking like???My game on max settings look worse then any of the trailers n y.t videos i seen on different settinghs low all the way up to maximum settings on all resolutions from 750p to 1080 to 4k you get it RIGHT?
Mad as hell,game released in 2023 dec and still is a horror show of cant see infron of me at all and I AM NOT ALONE....BUT ANY FIXES THAT WORK ARE NOT SEEN AS OF YET???

It takes things you love from Far Cry and changes them enough to not be. It's not just a spot on the nap collection. The terrain and atmosphere is so incredible and vertical, it does not feel like a chore getting around. Riding a giant cat helps. Combat is engaging enough and good power fantasy. All around I would say no. It's well done.

Idk why everyone makes guides describing skills to take and whatever... it defeats the point and fun of playing the game. PLAY THE GAME AND EXPLORE.... I promise its way more fun than looking for tips videos (im only here cuz this popped up on my feed)

Bro I can't even do the side quests I can't survive this tells me nothing omg I just wanna survive the fucking side quests and have fun it's literally the first time I've played this game and I can't get past the first rda mining outpost. I'm so frustrated no one is helping me!!!!!!!!!!!!
So depending on which outposts, killing all the rda aren't a priority. You don't level up by killing opponents so sometimes stealth is a better option.
