I have to add more info regarding the room comparisons that you didn't discuss. BC has several hotel rooms with odd configurations that only have one queen bed or only 2 queen beds without a sleeper sofa. BC also only has about a 50% ratio of full size balcony/patio vs standing only juliet style balconies. Since refurb, BC rooms now have the hard surface flooring, platform beds and glass shower doors like YC. YC, however, has a balcony on every room except maybe 2 or 3 rooms. YC also has a privacy sliding door for the sink area which is great for families and the showers have both an overhead and hand shower whereas BC only has the overhead fixtures. YC also has a very high ratio of rooms with both 2 queen beds and the sleeper sofa allowing 5 guests to easily occupy the room.
The Beach Club seems to be more popular but I agree Yacht Club is better, imo. The rooms have vinyl flooring which is a huge thing for me. The last thing I am is a complainer but when I stayed at Beach Club, I had to have my room moved because of a terrible smell of mildew/must etc. All Yacht Cl b rooms have balconies too which is a plus.
In Yacht Club rooms you're guaranteed a balcony which is the deal breaker for my family. Nothing beats a water view and sitting out on the balcony in the morning with a glass of orange juice and late at night before bed with a beverage of your choice lol!!
I have a question. If I'm staying at the Swan&Dolphin, can I walk to the yacht club and take the bus that takes you directly to MK? The one from Dolphin leaves you at TTC
