Dua Lipa is a woman of culture and class. Interviewing authors and asking them real thoughtful questions. I’m obsessed with this woman.
A privileged navel-gazer surrounding herself with fellow privileged navel-gazers.
Hearing this as a Pole it heals parts of me which are never addressed at home or school but of which you are aware somehow, subconsciously.
I’m very surprised that this channel doesn’t have more subscribers; Dua is such an excellent interviewer!! 👍
Let's spread the word! ❤
Because it's about having her ego stroked by Booker Prize winners and other niche 'literary friends'.
So delighted that Tomasz has a second book on the way - desperate for something since the incredible Swimming in the Dark!
It's hard to believe I'm listening to one of my favourite authors talking about one of my favourite books with one of my favourite artists.
This book changed my life and inspired me in the midst of the pandemic, a recommendation from a dear reader friend of mine, and I couldn't be more satisfied with it.
This novel reminds me of summer, reminds me of passion, reminds me of the heat... so related to Radical Optimism lyrics.
What a talented woman and such a marvellous author ✨
I love Tomasz Jedrowski. I hope he gets more exposure after this. Swimming in the Dark is such a beautifully written and timeless story about love and loss. My feelings lingered long after the final page. I can't wait to read that next novel!
Both should make ASMR videos. Of course I love Dua's voice, but his voice is also soothing.
At least it’s absurd.
I've watched a couple of these Book Club conversations now, and I must say the way Dua is handling topics shows how open-minded, clear-headed and insightful she is. She has this platform, and uses it in a very positive way. This way she can also be a positive inspiration to others.
Love you, Dua. Keep up the good work.
Dua is an incredible interviewer! Such a multi talented woman!
greetings from Poland :)
You were indeed lucky to find yourselves in spaces that were open and accepting. When the society becomes hostile it is like an invisible grip, limiting you in so many ways that you do not even realise until you escape that situation.
great episode as always ILYSM DUA!!!
