This is such a fantastic period drama! On top of that of that, it is a BL/LGBQT period drama. The BL/LGBQT love story feels like it is a natural part of the story, not something that is overly pushed at the audience. It feels as if it could be a drama about any blossoming love story. Kudos to the actors, director, and crew for creating such an interesting and engaging drama.
When I first knew Nonkul would act in a BL, it was a unexpected nice surprise and I already know that the story plot has to be good. But I didn't expect that it is so amazing. Nonkul's acting is top notch that's undoubted but Bright also surprise me in a nice way, his expression is on point, not over, not under. I can't wait for knowing how the story/ their relationship will develop. Thank you DeeHupHouse for this, another great production 👏
A series that enchants every episode. Excellent actors and Nonkul and Bright make the perfect couple. I observe delicacy, sensitivity, detail and the perfect incidental music. The final minutes moved me so much, I even forgot it's fiction. And Nonkul just the best actor.
I really loved this episode. The talk by the river was superb. The way Khun Yai talked Jom down from that ledge, so to speak, was just beautiful. "Relax your heart", just start over, I started crying, poor Jom has been through so much & is now letting go of the heartache. And the two of them are falling for each other. I can't wait for next episode!
It hits hard when Past Ohm is saying abd crying the same thing that Jom said and cried when Ohm was leaving him behind in the present. That's Karma....
Yes but I think it's Jom's karma not Ohm's. If you think about it this is the past Jom just exposed Fong Kaew and Ohm's affair so in the future he gets cheat on by Ohm to pay for what he did in the past.

OMG this series is so good. I thank DeepHub for bringing it and Nonkhul's acting is soo good but Bright's expressions are on point and I really the way he is conveying it. I want to binge watch it but every Friday I can't control myself from watching the series and once the series is complete I will re-watch it. And also I am now too excited for their relationship build-up. May God give us enough patience for one whole week 😅.

I like Peung and Maey relationship. Maey is such a nice person to her. Poor Kaew, she didn't deserved to be assaulted like that by Robert. And how she just think it's karma, it's sad. Wow. The fight in the shop... But does the shop owner is good? I can understand Sean. She was the love of his life. I loved the moment on the side of the water with Yai and Jom sitting and talking about their lives and what they feel. I liked that Yai was here for Jom. Took the time to talk to him, was gentle in his words, tried to make him speak without being pushy, listening and finding the right words. It was so nice too see. Jom needed that comfort. I can't wait for the next episode. It seems so good.

I know its a show which is not exactly historically accurate but seeing a fine polished hanger in a village shop in 1920 is so funny along with Fong Kaew being called a Lao woman while Laos was not even founded yet. The common servants having the educational prowess to read and write letters. I am not hating or anything, I am just thinking about these things.
Well colour me impressed, this series is just so beautifully crafted and well rounded on all fronts. The setting and feel of the time period is on point, and the musical score supports the feel of the time period also. The storyline is well written and the characters three-dimensional and interesting. The icing on the cake is just how well all the actors portray their characters too. I'm seriously impressed and invested. Well done DeeHup on another great series! 👏 My favourite part of this episode was seeing the connection build between Jom and Yai and how protective Yai is of Jom also. Robert being so evil made me absolutely furious - poor Fongkaew. 😢 Bring on the next episode - the wait will be looooooong. 🤪

It is time for JOM to understand how the circle of KARMA between him and OHM started in the late Lanna Times at 8:12 and broke completely in the present timeline, as they were never mean to be together. Destiny had different "plans" with both of them... but in his heart he is not ready to let go of P'OHM as we see in 15:32... and so his wrong doings in the past 39:53 turn into a wave of pain in the future as we saw in the opening Episode. Jom to free himself from a toxic love of his current incarnation, he needed to go back to the past to understand that he himself caused his unhappiness in his future life. My guess is that Jom after the car accident is in a coma in a hospital and when he wakes up in the present the doctor who will be taking care of him will be Yai. I can't wait for the next episode to arrive.

Loving this series, but this episode had more pregnant pauses than a maternity ward! :) It must take some acting skill to stand in silence for minutes on end just staring at each other. I guess it helps when the guys are so damn cute.

I appreciate some find this a difficult watch, but if this is close to historical truth, it's a masterpiece. The storyline, while we think we know what will happen, is intriguing, Jomis rightly struggling to fit in to this master and slave society, he's so much more intelligent and skilled than even the 'masters' on top of the doppelganger people appearing in his current time frame. I think Jom is played really well when you understand his mind set. I hope the whole serie is screned here on UA-cam

It is time for JOM to understand how the circle of KARMA between him and OHM started in the late Lanna Times at 8:12 and broke completely in the present timeline, as they were never mean to be together. Destiny had different "plans" with both of them... but in his heart he is not ready to let go of P'OHM as we see in 15:32... and so his wrong doings in the past 39:53 turn into a wave of pain in the future as we saw in the opening Episode. It is a circle that JOM can't avoid to go thru.
JOM's KARMA in this story with his strong connection with OHM / SEANG in both timelines is the main frame for the entire Series.
In the past timeline he interferes in a negative way in the love relationship of SEANG and KAEW breaking their connection and destiny... so that comes back to him in the present timeline in Episode 1 with a lot of pain as SEANG & KAEW find each other in their reincarnated lives. In the past it was KAEW the one tide to another man. In the present it was OHM the one tide to JOM.
More important are the wish and the curse of OHM / SAENG over JOM:
In the present timeline OHM wished JOM to find someone better than him.
In the past timeline SEANG curses JOM into not living a happy life for long.
The question in the end will be IF JOM finds the reincarnation of YAI in the present timeline also, and if they can be together once again.
So... without this circle of KARMA the Series wouldn't make any sense, as it deals with "The Wheel Of Life" (Bhavacakra)... in different levels... including reincarnation (Saṃsāra) and predestination (Dharma) in a Buddhist way. We could say that this is a Buddhist Boys Love based on the main storyline frame.

The law of Karma is relentless. Jom to free himself from a toxic love of his current incarnation, he needed to go back to the past to understand that he himself caused his unhappiness in his future life. My guess is that Jom after the car accident is in a coma in a hospital and when he wakes up in the present the doctor who will be taking care of him will be Yai. I can't wait for the next episode to arrive.

Loving this series, but this episode had more pregnant pauses than a maternity ward! :) It must take some acting skill to stand in silence for minutes on end just staring at each other. I guess it helps when the guys are so damn cute.

I appreciate some find this a difficult watch, but if this is close to historical truth, it's a masterpiece. The storyline, while we think we know what will happen, is intriguing, Jomis rightly struggling to fit in to this master and slave society, he's so much more intelligent and skilled than even the 'masters' on top of the doppelganger people appearing in his current time frame. I think Jom is played really well when you understand his mind set. I hope the whole serie is screned here on UA-cam
