Man, what a gorgeous ride. Wow! A 390 HP (big exhaust manifolds) 428, 4 spd, and all the gauges. Surprised it doesn't have the 8 lugs, but the rally IIs still look good. I miss the ride these big cars provided. Nothing compares today.
Awesome car, right down to little details, like the red in center of lug nuts to match the nice red line tires. This is much better than when it was new. I remember the air cleaner trick that I used on a lot of different cars. The 4 speed has to be rare, at least it was in my part of the country. Except for the GTO's I can only remember one full size having a 4 speed and that was in a 64 Catalina.
A neighbor had one when I was a kid. Brand new. I loved the body design. His son got a new GTO about that time. Hood tach four speed. air cond . Red stripes. Kelsey Hayes.chromed wheels. What’s not to love ?
in high school, i drove a 1971 GP sj 455 super duty. an older lady that owned a bar in QUINCY IL order the GP with every option on it. i pulled the motor out when I was 23, rebuilt it at 160.000 still ran great but I know all the hard miles on it, put it in,1968 lemons that I blew the overhead cam six up. was clocked at over 140 more than once.
amazing. about the most beautiful Pontiac ever. I had a '69 Bonnie with the 428, and they are incredibly fast for a big ol boat...I'm sure this GP does even better. wow.
Wow so badass, sounds amazing. They ride so good too. Earlier model with skirts and 8 lug wheels is my favorite, bit this is so clean, it could sway me.
My uncle still have his 67 Grand Prix. He baby that car never seen snow. Garage kept with car cover. He got it in 78 had ever since. I tried to buy it from him he wouldn't sell it to me. So I found a guy in Wisconsin who was selling one, so I bought his. I love these classics!
Beautiful car, really liked the "big bodied" 1967, and '68 Grand Prix's! You even have the correct license plate for the time period, original, I'm presuming. In California, if you bought a new 1967 model year car, it would most likely be issued with a plate beginning with the letter "T, U, or V". As a kid in 1967, when someone in the neighborhood bought a new car, I'd guess which one of the three letters that the new plate would have, cheap thrills for me, but kept my passion for cars alive!!!
. In 1980, I purchased a 1965 Pontiac Ventura, 428 H O . from a Army Sargent, who's son past away from sickness, and it was the sons vehicle, for five hundred dollars, and the mother and father cried, when I drove it away . It was red, and mint, and exceptionally fast, I was just a young man, and did not understand, what I had purchased . I sold the engine for three, and a half thousand, installed a four hundred, tripod, back into it, and sold the Ventura for thirty five hundred . These things are worth allot of money . ~ hard life (MULDEW)
those cars could really be loaded up in those days. If this one was fully loaded it would have A/C, PW, P vents, P seat cruise power rear antenna to name a few. Beautiful car.
I saw a guy at Pontiac Tri Power Nationals at Summit Race Park the cuts up an 8 lug drum and installs it over a disc brake. Best of both worlds, the 8 luggers are a little undersized for a 428, my 389 GP gets them 🔥 hot
Such a reasonable sticker price. My father bought new a 1966 Caprice with just the 327/PG, no air, hardly any options, with a sticker still of around $ 4,200.
I like the styling of the 67 better than the 68. They really didn't make many 428 cars. Including in the Bonneville either. See more 400 cars. My dad had a long time friend who was a diesel mechanic and he bought a GP new in 67. It was Cameo white with a red interior and the 400 4 barrel. When he and his wife would come over to visit I would marvel at the Pontiac styling. What an awesome looking car.
everyone was HOT. no 2barls like dodge 340 all hot. had one in the 80;s still have 3 455 ho and super duty. am a adick BB Pontiac made QUICK bank on the 428 had to sell.
This is the most beautiful car I have ever seen. I like all Grand Prix's, but the '67 is the coolest looking of them all. And this one is perfect. I love it. Question; the hood mounted Tach pod, did it come from the factory like that or did you add it on ? I've seen them on GTO and early Firebirds but not on Grand Prix.
Now I get to see the cars that my government wouldn’t let me see when they drafted me and sent me off to a war that was all for naught in 1965 thru 1967.
maybe the best line of cars GM ever put out. what did chevy have to compare with this ,the impala, caprice only people who have owned a pontiac actually know pontiacs were steps a head of chevy the best ride i ever got was from a pontiac
this is very nice car my dad had one with the 428 only automatic gold outside and inside 8track player stock a beautiful car his was a 428 cj brother totaled it broke dads heart take care
You could order a 4 speed in nearly any car back then. Except for maybe a caddy or a Lincoln. Before the government got into the picture and destroyed the auto industry in this country.
From an era when they made cars to be reliable, comfortable, beautiful and perform at the same time.
Hey!....1967.... come back!
All of the 60's and 70's Grand Prix's were awesome and soo underrated. I had several loved them all!
Beautiful, classic and rare car, absolutely gorgeous, nothing like it on the road today! Phenomenal styling, Pontiac was at its peak in the '60's.

I'll say it again, the 67-8 Pontiac fullsize had great interiors and nice instrument panels and in 67 Gran Prix form a nice looking car.
My uncle owns one of these. same color. 400CI with a 4 speed. its the only year they offered the GP in a convertible. What a beautiful car!
I remember looking at one back in high school saying someday unfortunately someday never came along a rare beast.
A neighbor had one when I was a kid. Brand new. I loved the body design. His son got a new GTO about that time. Hood tach four speed. air cond . Red stripes. Kelsey Hayes.chromed wheels. What’s not to love ?
One of the most beautiful cars ever produced ! 👍
in high school, i drove a 1971 GP sj 455 super duty. an older lady that owned a bar in QUINCY IL order the GP with every option on it. i pulled the motor out when I was 23, rebuilt it at 160.000 still ran great but I know all the hard miles on it, put it in,1968 lemons that I blew the overhead cam six up. was clocked at over 140 more than once.

Beautiful car!!! Nothing can compare to the classics!!!
Whoa what a rare specimen and a good looking one at that
I've owned 2 63's, a 64 and 2 optioned-out 67's. (Autos) I have a soft spot for these cars and yours is spectacular.
supernash . Thank you. it's a great car on the road.
Thank you. It's a Great car on the road
4 sp.& a hood tach,rare beauty.
Incredible I've never seen one like this and a 4 speed must be pretty rare
Looks like a factory Hurst shifter.

Kicking down the idle at 2:00 - 2:15. Flipping the air cleaner lid. The memories!
My 67 GP had the high back seats also. Rare.
my 1967 gto has them first year for gto I think same seats.
Wow, beautiful. I'd take that and a '70 Mercury Marquis wagon for the perfect garage.
A BIG BOI'S GRAND TOY.......THESE WERE INCREDIBLE BACK IN THE DAY & ARE AN AMAZING PIECE OF HISTORY TODAY.
. Good job 💯💫
Absolutely beautiful GP! Congrats.
Yes Headrest. A lot of first first for 67. A option. Disk brakes also a first in 67
Beautiful Beautiful BEAUTEEFUL!!!
CORVAIRWILD how are things.
Now that is one sweet car! I would give my left testicle for this rocket sled, wow! This car is way nicer than my friends '67 Impala SS, Sweet.
Brian Demas Thanks bud. I'll let you know if I'm ever in need of a left one lol
I like the styling of the 67 better than the 68. They really didn't make many 428 cars. Including in the Bonneville either. See more 400 cars. 67 was the last year for the full size Grand Prix, G.M. started downsizing them in 1968.
That's one sweet Poncho
god that sounds beautiful
Those 67 Pontiac Grand Prix, was a Bad Ass machine, I know I had one, Which I still had it.
Thanks, Scott. We love the car
Had the same, automatic safari, love the steering wheel, 428 was hot
everyone was HOT. no 2barls like dodge 340 all hot. had one in the 80;s still have 3 455 ho and super duty. am a adick BB Pontiac made QUICK bank on the 428 had to sell.
With these cars the only thing that moved faster than the needle on the speedometer was the needle on the gas gauge! Lol
Bob Johnson with gas@ .29 a gallon for premium, it didn't matter...ha,ha-and it was a hell-uv-a-lot of fun.
Bob Johnson Now they make great lowriders lol
yea they moved in opposite directions
my 1971 GP 455 sd would get 19 at 100 mph.
Yeah thats not true on the highway 20 mpg was the norm
Beautiful restoration on this car. Wish they still produced cars like this today. So sad that Pontiac is gone. Who do you blame for their demise?
Definitely my favorite year for the GP! What a beauty! For sale?
Damn time capsule beautiful !
Today's v8s don't idle like this. This is smooth operation
Stunning GP!
Evo lution

I want a ride in this thing so bad.
Was the tach on the hood stock with these?
Dealer only in 67
Do you still own this beauty?
No I don't. Will be posting my 65 2+2
At least, the early Grand Prixes beared initials at the front grille. Until Pontiac's last years they evoluted as mid size sedans
Amazing
maybe the best line of cars GM ever put out. what did chevy have to compare with this ,the impala, caprice only people who have owned a pontiac actually know pontiacs were steps a head of chevy the best ride i ever got was from a pontiac
Beautiful
Wow ❤️

James Burdzinski why would you ask if this was a old man's car?
Will my gtp ever be considered a classic like this beauty?

Just curious, have you had her appraised lately...If you were interested in selling, how much? Thanks.
Evo lution No I haven't yet. 35k is my number.
Isn't that early electronic ignition solid state
Personal luxury for the street or strip
Too kool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are those factory headers?
Rich Cisneros Yes they are. Long Branch exhaust manifolds
Have you ever attempted to put like hooker headers, ram air lll exhaust etc? I wonder if the 67 gp has the same room as a 68 gp?
Rich Cisneros No I haven't tried. I'm very happy with these. Clearance, heat issues with headers.
this is very nice car my dad had one with the 428 only automatic gold outside and inside 8track player stock a beautiful car his was a 428 cj brother totaled it broke dads heart take care

It doesn't have doesn't have A/C or power windows. Grand Prix was a upscale luxury car.
Oh God yes!
I have a 77 grand prix under resto
You could order a 4 speed in nearly any car back then. Except for maybe a caddy or a Lincoln. Before the government got into the picture and destroyed the auto industry in this country.
You can definitely see where Dodge stole Pontiac's front grill design and slapped it on the 1969 Chargers
They should have offered a 140-mph speedometer.
my 71 used it up. lol scratch 3rd gear sometimes at 80 something mph.
Yeah firebird in 68 had a 160 mph speedometer
@@babakazi5818 '74 Firebirds had a 160-mph speedometer. My father would rent one every so often. Most of them had a 350 and they could move.
They fucked up not putting this engine in a 67 GTO
Allllllllll business...
Hood tach is incorrect.....style is for Yenko Novas
Hood tach is not incorrect. I had a 67 and a 68 and they both had the hood tach.
Looked odd to me for a Pontiac, but I don't know these - all I could say is '67 had the tall style.
You can give me your email. I still own the car. Scott
My 67 Grand Prix is for sale. I'm asking $26,500. Scott
Is this still for sale?
SOLD SOLD SOLD!!!!!
