Holy crap, Burning Blind is powerful. It feels like it would fit very well in an emotional film scene that relies on imagery, body language, and music to convey what's happening between characters.
If you're still interested, we've just published the original 8 tracks demo on Bandcamp : candlefr.bandcamp.com/album/beginning-blue-uncut (+ one gig at Orsay/Paris in 1992)
kind of think i could digest some #souvlaki for there aren't many bands doing or having had done this and doing it well, the percussion seems a little too over produced and i think of #broadcast and #melodysechochamber although no where near as poppie, i'm not for sure on the shoegaze to post-rock as though this'd go farther if he had face scruff
We are the few, the proud...The Shoegazers!
Music for the few, not the many...
We are the scene that celebrates itself
Yesssss
Fun fact that the girl featured in the album now works as a COO in a musical digital media company called Believe.
What is a COO?
@@michaelcraig9449 Maybe Chief Operating Officer
i love this hidden gems series. Finding some really cool bands that otherwise probably wouldn't get exposure again
Love your pick!! Vapor Trail is is perfection!
No Eyes....An absolute classic song of the genre.....keep coming back for repeat listens....

I never thought after so many years I would find the mix that took me down the rabbit hole.
This band had a beautiful vision of the music they wanted to create
This what I cry to honestly but also get that feeling of hope idk like it’s just makes me u feel like your unique
Difference Engine would fit perfectly in this series. Start with "5 Listens."
The bass player reminds me of Majesty Crush. And, have you noticed how badass shoe gaze band drummers are??
This is really awesome. The last song particularly had a great SY vibe to it. Thanks for all the awesome recs!

Nice, they sound a bit like Light / Dark from Birmingham.
Candle and Carmine were brilliant, and super nice.
Lucie vacarme is worth listening too, they became later Diabologum, for those french sounds. Several tape labels flourished in those days in France.
Awesome rare tracks and shoegaze very cool...
with the look in her eyes i had to hear
Supposedly she runs an online gambling site these days. Figures.
anthonymoroneygodzil what? Lmao

Carmine was a great band. French noisy-noise bands from this age was interesting. Sister Iodine, for example.
Merci pour le compliment, Vento ! The original demo is available here : candlefr.bandcamp.com/album/beginning-blue-uncut + a 1992's live...
Excellent!
The guitars sounds makes it sounds like Agalloch for moments
I love Agalloch
I liked Carmine. Also looking for the french band Lighthouse.
