People call it kidnapping buts actually its just that the baby has to be taught it's part of a larger troop who's rules it must obey as well as it's mothers. It's like a kind of outsourcing of the weaning process to higher females. It can go wrong of course but that's the reason and the mother has to just follow and wait.

Those are NOT all her babies. The tiniest one has been stolen from its mother that's why it is looking around and calling out for her. Long-tailed Macaques (in fact the whole species of Macaques) very very rarely have more than one baby at a time. Usually if you see a mother carry more than one baby she has either kidnapped it or adopted it from some other mother that has abandoned it.
I seem to remember a video where a male had a kidnapped baby in the trees (the one you see crying out for mom the most, I think) and this mother monkey already had 2 but took the tiny one from the male ... Either A. She had twins or B. She was taking care of a baby of a relative along with her own child. Then she grabbed the baby from the kidnaper and wouldn't let it go

Показывали одну с 6-ю малютками.А оказалось это самец😅.У зтого вида двойни маловероятны.Но они могут быть нянями у своих родственниц.Могут и покормить.Но малыши и сами не сосут чужую грудь.Они привыкли к запаху родной матери.
Бедные обезьяны живут в диких, ужасных условиях, что то скрипит можно сойти с ума. Мамочка с малышами замечательная, малыши чудо, таким любящим мамам, нужен материнский капитал, в виде усиленного питания.

I don't think all those babies are that female's. Being that there are other females staying very close to that female w/the babies. Plus, there is one baby,that's "calling" to it's mom for help. Well, I hope the babies get back w/Thierry mom's.
The baby whistling for its mom is obviously not hers. Its weird shes feeding 2 of the 3 as only 1 is presumably hers (2 other adult females are following her around.) Then she has the 2 and one of the females is beside her but this females teats SHOW NO SIGNS OF NURSING. So either that isntva mom and she does have twins OR perhaps more likely, that females milk never came in, and the nursing one is a wetnurse - almost certainly a matrilineal blood relation like her sister or aunt/niece. Bonnet macaques will co-mother but LTMs tend to be super territorial and rank-conscious about such things, though they might do it for a matrilineal relative.
2:16 one of the babies is turning and piping for mum here. The adult one coming into the picture from the left most likely is its mother but low ranking. So the kidnapper-mom runs, and the real mum can do nothing but follow her. Mum waits for a chance to snatch her baby back, or for kidnapper-mom to get bored of so many kids.
Too bad there's not more video to explain what exactly happened here. Obviously two of them were kidnapped but, the older two seem happily content suckling side by side as if they've been doing this for a while. Most of the time the biological baby will block another baby from being able to feed from its mother but here, it looks almost as if they've both accepted her as Mom and found a way to be okay with one another. Makes me wonder how long they've been together and if the mother has officially adopted the second child.
Feeding tripplets is not easy for this mommy monkey. Only 2 baby monkeys can suck milk and one is left hungry, unless they take turns. Looks like the baby monkey on her mom's left arm is deprived of milk. Nevertheless one can see that this mother monkey is very protective of her tripplets & won't let any of them leave her presence. But wait a minute -- what happened to the 3rd baby monkey towards the middle of this video? How did it disappear? Did another adult monkey kidnap one baby monkey? Or helped the mommy babysit it? No sign of the 3rd baby monkey anymore.
