I think people shouldn't sleep on emilie, because natlan and the pyro archon are on the horizon and she might synergize with the archon quite well, just like how baizhu improved with furina's release.
I feel like this is going to be a similar situation with Baizhu where he was considered unnecessary in the meta at his time of release but after Furina he got way better and people saw him as a great dendro healer

I'm thinking about the burning Wrio-team that could benefit if there is enough dendro application. Basically, with Nahida marking enemies, Bennet for boost and Thoma for pyro application. Wrio can reverse-melt enemies while keeping/refreshing the burning effect on them. Gotta see how this works, but it could make a good Nahida replacement for this team

I think an ultimate similar to Dendro MC would be good for burning....that does continuous dendro application or a skill similar to Dendro Samachurl that also does continuous dendro application for burning to work. Hoyo needs to work on other reactions, niche teams are good way to experiment and correct the way a reaction could be used....there are still underrated elements to work on. But 4-stars characters should be used instead of 5-star characters, that way people won't be upset about throwing their hard earned cash on experimental reactions....

I'm about to get her to go with my ARLENATION team. Father, Layla, Dehya, Emilie. Initially my team consists of Arle, Layla, Yaoyao, and Dehya but I'm still working on Yaoyao and she doesn't help the team much even though I really want her to so we'll see if Emilie can take her place then I can have yaoyao on another team instead.

I want to use Emilie in a HyperBurgeon team with Clorinde, Thoma, and Furina. Do you think it's viable? I don't want to pull for Nahida because I just don't like her gameplay that much, being that she needs to reapply her e skill a lot, and pure Aggravate/Quickbloom is just boring so. (not hating)
my worry is that you won't get enough Burning up-time with the team you mentioned. a safer option you can do is replace Furina with someone like Fischl to play a burning overload team with Emilie

Off field pyro application wouldn't really mean anything for Emilie, she's like she is because of her restrictions in damage and her damage in her best teams isn't that good + the burning teams include characters that really don't want to be in a burning team for their best teams, Emilie is going to be a character that you pull because you like her and her playstyle, not because of meta, like ayato, cyno, scaramouche, etc
I just want to make sure people realize how bad the two Fountaine characters released are recently speaking of Clohrinde and now also Emile apart from making the "Burning reaction" useful she seems to be very subpar when it comes to DPS Clohrinde on other hand has other issues like uptime on Elemental skill and Burst Size compared to Kuki or Keqing... It's damage is overturned for bosses and is very good in Solo situation but still Clohrinde is a newbie trap iny opinion because Versatility is king in this game...if Emile had Sethos's kit with a Bow and elemental mastery scalling I would have rated her 20 out of 10 must pull character I will just have to wait for the next Dendro 4 star support character....which turns out to be a Kirara... I can't believe it Hoyoverse...
its "alright" but I would put another DPS along with Emilie, unless you just want Emilie to deal most of the damage like in this team (onfielding Emilie with C6 Bennett could be interesting)
She does the same damage as before, but now she isn't needlessly gutted whenever the enemy has an electro shield, which opens her up to electro teammates as well. She still reaches her full potential in a burning comp.
Kinda makes her a bit more lame imo, I liked the idea she doesnt devolve into some other electro compatible dendro unit. They should have just buffed her burn damage or focused more on that mechanic. Kinda kills my excitement for her.
Her limitations were dumb, I mean, if she triggers spread or aggravate by accident (Electro Shields, Co-op) she will be useless during 30 secs which is a lot of time.

Removing the electro restriction is good because people will get to see how good the burning set is for electro characters in an overburn team.

She is still screwed if you don't use burning with her, you will lose her A1 damage, her level2 skill and the 36% increased damage
