Great message Josh! Unconditional Grace and Uncompromising Truth just like our Lord Jesus. Spot on. I thought you were going to dip into 2 Timothy 3:1-5 around 14:00.
I just joined this church three weeks ago and love it love Josh! I have been really enjoying the controversy oh Jesus series but unfortunately I came in at week three of it is this episode the first or second? I want to finish the full series, and if anybody could direct me to the other episode, I would greatly appreciate it. God bless.
Insightful reveal from John 1:17! What then does grace mean exactly, in this case? And making a balance between grace and truth, how would that even look like? I ask this because the feedback I get from people around me seems to put me in the truth category. But your description of grace and truth makes it seem like the two are mutually exclusive: for example if you’re always affirming of people’s opinions, you necessarily would lose truth, which I agree with. But if Jesus was full of both, then it means the understanding of grace is a bit unclear, I think. I hope the basis of my question is clear? And I focus on grace because I’m that biased in wanting to understand it more, and also because truth is pretty straightforward.

Ps. Josh, some contrasts you use are staggering!!
Truth: sin deserves death.
Grace: Jesus paid for our sin so we escape death.
