    This show concentrated on one fiddle. It would be interesting to know how many copies Zyg has made for famous fiddle players. There are a few rolling around.

    If you make a new top, back and ribs, is it still a Strad? At what point is it no longer a Strad?

      Strad himself replaced the top probably because it got badly damaged, so all parts are made by Strad.

      It reminds me of the "Toenniges" strad but in that case the back was replaced by Vuillaume

    Maybe the customer wanted a modern top?
