Installing Wind Deflectors on the 3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma

Hi!
Do you have some kind of problems at the moment with this?
Recently I install my deflectors and just for this I'm not pretty convinced.
I think the mechanism is getting forced.

That’s what’s going to happen, the channel is already small enough for the window to fit, i noticed it when i installed my tint. BUT, i was thinking of installing this product, and i wanted to see the cons, and here i found one.

To prevent the mechanism get broke, I help it by pulling the deflector out slightly.
This action increases the gap enough and the window closes practically normally.
I don't do it all the time, but doing it occasionally I think is fine.

Did you use the clips for the front driver and passenger side windows?

Nope! The clips are only for the rear windows.

Honestly, I never checked. If there was a change in MPG, it is probably very minimal.
