😂😂 appreciate you guys. We have 6 guys at our gym over 120kg we call ourselves The goon squad and try to train together where possible so we are not surprised at comps. A lot of them have rugby back grounds so they're a nightmare to take down so we have some pretty good big boy guards
The same people who say why are you spending so much time on a hobby probably spend more than 6 hours a week watching TV or playing videogames. I think I'd rather work towards that black belt.
The biggest guy I drilled with was an out of shape guy well over 300lbs. We were both new white belts and we drilled close guard openers. He layed on me a lot.
Man I can only go gym 3 days a week 2hr sessions but its all i pretty much think about , i switched my lifting routine to match myy jitz my youtube is full of matches and instrucionals or techniques, idk how anyone does it and doesnt become obsessed!!
@@KierenLefevre 1.5 years but about 12 years ago when I was 17/18 I did a little MMA training mostly stand up but some ground work, now do mostly 90% gi but actually feel like I'm better at no gi!!
Why do jiujitsu people even care so much about a black belt. Aren't most people hobbyists and stripes and belts are for their motivation. I guess the hobbyist are paying the bills. Thx for the Podcast and the work you guys put in!

Biggest guy I've rolled with is well over 250lbs overweight so I never asked them
In my first comp at blue belt I competed in open weight, and I was about 95kg . The guy I competed against easily was 140kg to 150kg
Hi
What would be the average amount of bjj classes per week to get a black belt in 10 years?
