I use a Food Saver vacuum sealer and buy family portions of meats and such, divide them up and vacuum seal them. Just me so takes a while to use up. I've had stuff get lost in the freezer and find it a couple of years later and it still be like I put it in the freezer last week. Also, use it to keep what comes out of the garden. Best investment I've ever made.
I have never been fishing in my life but thanks to you and your family I've learned how to clean a fish properly. So I just want to thank you so much!!
Joe!!! That was an unbelievable gaff shot on the Barracuda! Love your videos and your style! Blue Gabe is awesome too! What a duo!! Love watching you guys and your styles on UA-cam! Keep doing what your doing!!! Thank you!
Brother you are a blessed man. I love that you and your brother and the family are so humble and that's the blessing you guys share with all of us watching you guys videos. Keep them coming👍
Shakespear was my first rod at 15 years of age ! I've caught literally thousands of fish with it , and now 35 years later , still catching fish with it ! Now I bought an 8 footer only 4 years ago, and have caught 48 inch , 52 inch muskies with it !!! UGLY Sticks are the ONLY RODS I FISH WITH !!!!
My favorite Johnny Jig is their “flatty” pumpkin color. My other favorites are the heavy torpedo jigs from Florida Sport Fishing. I went on the Yankee Capts this summer and slow pitch jigged for 2 days and nights solid, slept for 2 hours the whole time. Got mutton, groupers, tuna, vermilion and a huge AJ from 500 feet down! The AJ was totally loaded with more worms than I have ever seen in my life!
from the videos I've watched I think your best camera person is doing your filming for you now. thanks for all the great videos and sharing your life with all of us watching. and thank you for Joe's channel
Did you really buy the V. sealer? I've been looking around for a while for one and haven't found anything I really like. It looked good but I can't remember the name or what video he spoke about it in. Appreciate some info on it if you get a chance. Thanks so much. 🥰
Hey Brother: I have used Ugly stick spinning and baitcasting rods ONLY for over 20 years and never had a problem. Love them. I have 10 of them. . Peace.
My dad Has an Ugly stick, He loves that rod so much! Watching you fight a fish is one of my fav things to watch. You never know whats on the end of that line till it reaches the surface. Thank you and Good luck Hunting!
I use an 8’6 ugly sick with Fuji guides for grouper over here in bayport catching Grouper in about 32 to 60’ of water since I have been about 13 years old. We use to have a 21’ Bayliner we use to follow the head boats out of tarpon Springs and follow them back home. We called it salty pelican that’s the term we used for following them around. This was at age 14 going out 23 miles on average. With our friends. Crazy I know but man was it ever fun! Holy shit it was fun. That’s when I became addicted to Grouper fishing. No lie. Walmart use to sale thoseUgly sticks then they stopped and we found them at Sports Authority then at Dicks. Now I don’t know if you can even get them anymore. But I love them. Thanks Gabe for being who you are. Love that your a family man and I love that you take the wife and wish you would do a lot more gag fishing over here in HOMOSASSA and we’ll from Hudson to Ozello. Man you can catch shallow water Geouper Erwin Crystal River well anywhere along the way that I mentioned. But hang them high charters is the master. There’s a capt there that specializes in large gags from 8’ of water to about 23’ of water and brother you talking about fun!!! You have got to take the kids with you when you go man. Please do a show on this and put it out there ok. Thanks agin brother sorry so long.
I have used several Ugly Sticks in the past up to 7' and mostly for spinning reels. I use to live around Galveston Tx and I now have a 8', 40- 80 lb class Ugly Stick rod for my 4/0 Penn reel. I got that rod at Academy when they would do their rod madness sales. Those are some real good "ole school" rods. I use to have and use their automatic fly reels before I learned to use a regular fly reel. Their other rods had an iridescent top section, to help when I fished in low light. Still great wrapped fiberglass rods. MK
I have every model of Ugly Stik other than ocean model . From ultra-light to heavy duty trolling Musky rods.- They are unbreakable and the BEST rod made....believe me!!!
I used to break a lot of poles as a kid. The sporting goods guy showed an impressive demonstration, taking the tip and bending all the way to the butt. It made complaining noises, but didn't break, as we cringed, expecting it. I think they were pretty new at the time. I saved up and got an ugly stick. Saved me a lot of $. I had the back window thing on my pickup topper slam on that pole years later, it bent funny and had a little notch in it, but it was strong as ever. I now have several. One 5 feet from my head now I bought at a yard sale last year with a nice reel, for $10. I do a lot of yard sailing and thrifting. I have well over 100 poles, probably a dozen or so ugly sticks. (I just sold off 60 or so Bass Pro seconds too). I broke my cousin's pole in Pensacola area trying to unsnag. I got him a big ol ugly stick to replace it. Even carved his reel mount to fit. He loved it. I've never been around an ugly stick that broke. They are a little stiff for trout and especially salmon. A little surgical tubing in the line gives enough so hooks don't tear their mouths. I've caught many trout strait on an ugly stick, but a little soft give improves the odds.
Yes, I have used an UglyStick, years ago my uncle had them while fishin for musky in Canada. I’m sure you made that guys day by sharing that Jack with him. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Great job BlueGabe catching the giant big fish. Glad you was able to clean the fish to pack it with ice. The clean, & cook test of all three fish in the smoke was a great idea. Love your channel, be safe, stay healthy, God Bless everyone.
Thoose are average size JVille reef donkeys....... 90% of my rods are Ugly Sticks and Ugly Stick Tigers ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM! Killer vid! Welcome to Jax!
Just found y’all on YT. Never watched before but now I’m hooked on yours Kelly’s Joe Deermeat Dibbs. All of your channels. Love trying out our recipes. Thanks keep up the good work.
HeyGabe wOW that was a great catch today Awesome Job Looked like U were having a tug of war with the one fish !!!!👌👍😇😎💜💚😆😄😃😀😁🤪👄❤️👄❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Gabe! This is Jacinto de Sousa from Green Valley, Sydney, Australia. I have been diagnosed with ALS last 2015 and spent most of the time in bed. Love watching your shows very much and it gives me a glimpse of everything outdoors! Your family is amazing too and very supportive! If you could, can you please give me a shoutout on your upcoming videos? Would appreciate that. God bless!
Splendid video. Love your channel and Kelly’s ... of course. In Europe -France- we call this fish a “Dorade” in English a sea bream. At least it looks like that. 👌
I pretty much just fish N.Ga. trout streams and all of my poles are Ugly Sticks. Small trout streams are a challenge most of the times to get to the best spots and don't seem to be able to destroy my Ugly Sticks as much as other poles I have used. Great vid Gabe.
Yeh we call them pinkies which is a juvenile snapper, when they get to full size they grow a huge lump on their forehead and r excellent eating, one of my favourite eating fish particularly super fresh👍👍👍👍
So I’ve used 8’6 ugly sticks with Fuji guides for Hrouoer fishing. Love them. They quit making them but back in the day you could buy them for a 100 bucks. Mine have lasted me for 25 years and I love them. It’s the only thing that I use. Those Lagos are good eating.
I have a couple of Ugly Sticks. I've pulled up plenty of bull reds on them. They're a great rod and they're cheep, you can get them at Walmart all day long.
Early on, for years I HAD to have the best rods made. I slowly learned how expensive that was, broken graphite, rod tips that couldn't take a fart. THEN, I learned "ugly sticks"..... They could take any fishing abuse, weather changes, and still be there for the next trip. Most best, they were AFFORDABLE! Thank you, Shakespeare!~
Ugly Stik was the thing back in the early eighties, you were just a minnow back then... A spinner on a stik was what we used to catch the schoolies on...
Damn right!! My medium/light action rod is an ugly stik! And that thing will pull something just as big out the water as my deep drop will. Well depending on what fish it is lol. Put it this way, if I'm going out on deep water, you best believe my ugly stik will be with me!! AWESOME rods!!
Dang that is a big Jack for sure! I have several Ugly Sticks, totally love them. Only one I ever broke was because the wind slammed the truck door on it. I wrote to Shakespeare company and told them what happened and they sent me a brand new one! How about Jake eating iguana tail - Good Man!! Thanks for sharing Gabe!
Ur friend was like "Got it! Amberjack! " That made me laugh he was so ready to start the taste test :0) Gosh I Love ur videos this was a great one. I can not wait to go fishing again! Oh also I really Love when you guys hang out with Joey he cracks me right up :0)

Put a ring on Kelly’s finger.
I feel like you did 5 videos in 1 🤯 I couldn’t stop watching 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Joey is a really funny and chilled dude!
Lol there was literally a ad right when ya said “we’ll be back after this commercial break”
Same here it made me mad ngl
Not positive but I think that's because he is able to place the commercials at certain points
I didn’t get that I just had a black screen for a second
I’ve used plenty of ugly sticks and they are tuff as can be!
Joey is the fastest gaff on the water. Well done Joey.
Was so nice seeing Luke and Jake again. Awesome video Gabe.
Giving that man your extra fish pushed me at last to bump the notifications bell. That was right on.
Can we see more videos with Aubrey? Love seeing him on the channel
I'm still using my mom's & granddaddy ugly sticks they bought in the 1940s. BTW I'm 70yrs old. Love fishing with you guys ❣
Pink snapper over in Australia would never even think of throwing that back keep up all the hard work
My favorite Johnny Jig is their “flatty” pumpkin color. My other favorites are the heavy torpedo jigs from Florida Sport Fishing. The best vacuum sealer i have ever bought. Worth every penny. Bluegabe you and Kelly are awesome.

Nobody uses their grill more than BlueGabe! I can’t wait to get a grill like that.
I love your program and your brothers you guys are the best #1. On the program you guys say hi to Ralphy and Julie. Thank you guys u r AWESOME!
My dad Has an Ugly stick, He loves that rod so much! Watching you fight a fish is one of my fav things to watch. You never know whats on the end of that line till it reaches the surface. Thank you and Good luck Hunting!
Awesome video. The captain is a natural. Thank you so much.

I never get tired of watching catch clean and cook videos.
I have 4 Ugly Stick salt water rods for west coast tuna fishing.... Love them!
Rainbow runner is my favorite fish to make Samoan oka. It's a delicious fish dish similar to poke but with coconut cream. Try Oka, you'll love it.
Yes, I have used an UglyStick, years ago my uncle had them while fishin for musky in Canada. I’m sure you made that guys day by sharing that Jack with him. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Gabe giving spoilers from Kelly’s upcoming videos 😂
Early on, for years I HAD to have the best rods made. I slowly learned how expensive that was, broken graphite, rod tips that couldn't take a fart. THEN, I learned "ugly sticks"..... What an awesome day of fishing. U and Rob should go to Australia and do a collab with Ybs Youngbloods. The marine life they got out there looks crazy
Ugly Stik was the thing back in the early eighties, you were just a minnow back then... A spinner on a stik was what we used to catch the schoolies on...

I remember watching Luke eat iguana tail. He’s a trooper.
