‘Here’s how it doesn’t have to be a problem for you..’
No More Idols is mandatory listening for all dance music fans. I remember seeing C+S at a festival in Australia around 2012 after they released that album and it was the first time drum and bass pulled a crowd that rivalled the massive house/techno headliners. No problem became one of the most double-dropped tracks along with timewarp, true romance and mr. happy!
Your magic is important. I'm proud and believe in Stranjah.
That's right. I remember Stranjah Track previews alongside Chase and Status tracks back in the DNBA days. haha
Hey mate, just my two cents worth on your Reese basses... Everyone loves those post naughties warpy Reese basses. If you grab a shifter and put that on your Reese track and play with the fine knob on Freq settings ( I recomend 3.89Hz at around 25-30%), you get that post naughties warpy vibe. As an additional piece of info, if you get Calculus (the M4L plugin from Hypnus records) it tells you the correct settings for syncronized warpyness. It works for all plugins and stock working with Ms, Hz and Sample length. You need Max For Live of course though. As always, loving your content. Keep it coming.
Nice I'll try it!
It's a straight sausage! That's what she said. Love your channel!
THE ONE! Mampi swift! please
I think the easiest way to explain that switch up beat is the 1K 3 snare break. I have tried to find ways to explain that drum beat to other people and it's so difficult without beatboxing. haha
I would love to see you do PFM - Danny's Song please. 1st heard it on LJT's Logical Progression. Still gives me the chills when I hear it.
Really like this one! Glad to see you back with some fresh videos and glad to see you got support with 'No Problem', unlike a certain other video, where you were attacked by the guy who's name includes the company that created the Alpha Juno 2 hoover sound that Prodigy used in Charly...
10:36 ♥️
Never realised it was a liam howlett sample and its so obvious
. That makes the tune even better and its already bangin
my favorite DnB song
Hey Stranjah! Aspiring DJ and Producer from New Zealand here🙌🏼
Just wondering if you could make a video on how shy fx and tpower did their drums for 'diary of a digital soundboy' big ups
GIMME SHIRT
BIG UP for the great, clear-cut lesson as always

Wicked video I'm learning a lot from you!

Ere we goooooo
i know i'm late but i want that shirt so bad LOL
What Ableton is this your using please?..
Great video btw, quality 👌
thanks for the video, but why you use xfer ott and not the ableton build in?
I like the sound better!
@@STRANJAH thank you for your answer, does it really Matter? does the xfer ott sound different? i think i must compare it myself later
@@Cytasis Also I think its easier to use. @tyrkohout swears by it, and I trust everything he says
Is that a Ben Marriott pizza animation?
Good idea. My editor used a free template he gave away.
😂 Dude! Loving all your videos, I’m learning so much from you. Your music vids are up there with Ben’s animation tutes!
@@hybrid3d That's a huge complement thank you!!
Like this comment if you want to buy my new JUNGLE SHIRT!!
I'd like to see people create their own sound rather than copy what others have done. Jeeze get creative people.
Copying is a great starting point. Stops you wasting time going down the wrong path.
@leftmono1016 Drum and bass never used to have a path, but then it was fresh and new and much more creative. How can you claim your own style and unique sound if you're copying what others have created.
@@jonnie350zje - it was only more creative in the past as it was new. Rose tinted glasses. There’s a lot of very creative stuff out there, it’s just harder to find amongst all the rubbish.
This video is about learning how things are put together for beginners, as such it’s very useful.
There are also people who don’t really care about creating a ‘style’, they just want to make decent music. Also, the vast majority of people watching these vids are hobbyists, with jobs that take up most of their time. Shortcuts are very useful.
@leftmono1016 so I can't have an opinion no, jeeze I am old, skool , and I make tunes myself. I am one of the people that made stuff by experimental expression, not by copying what others had already done, and personally I would rather hear some tearing beats and bass ok 👌
@@jonnie350zje - you’re exactly like me, doing this kind of thing way before UA-cam videos existed. When it cost a lot more to do, the cheapest Akai sampler was around £900.
That’s why I like these kind of tutorials - would have saved me a lot of time back in the day. Learn from others and take that knowledge to use for yourself.
Tbh I do get where you’re coming from, and share the ‘pride’ in having to figure out pretty much everything for yourself.
charly is not the source for the hoover stab sound. at least so SOME research maybe?
also cant really call chase and status new album a comeback when theyve never really went anywhere.
more misinformation than actual content..
Oh look, the DnB police have arrived! Please, feel free to crucify me for not specifying that the hoover stab sound originated from the Roland Juno Alpha 2. But wait, that might not be sufficient. Next, they'll probably chastise me for failing to acknowledge the Japanese electronics engineers who created the Juno Alpha. And then, surely I'll be condemned for not detailing the materials involved - the plastics and metals. Goodness gracious, I'm practically on a one-way trip to the underworld for not acknowledging and thanking the Almighty for creating the earth from which these materials were sourced. So help me, God. 😂
Don’t be boring mate 🙄
@@STRANJAH 🤣
Sounds like a Liam howlett hoover noise to me, but what do I know. Love this by the way. Thanks for your videos Stranjah
No need to rant about it man, I mean we can give feedback without the attitude.
Love this song, awesome recreation @STRANJAH
