It's amazing how truly challenging covers like this won't get the recognition they deserve... I don't think most people realize how much skill it takes to play polyrhythms and stay true to the style like you did! Awesome job man - I'm working on a cover of this as well but I've got a ways to go
Let me congratulate you on your video, I identify a lot with your adaptation to the drums of "son montuno", I also apply the bongo bell with my right hand and play the "paila o timbal" bell with my left, while most of drummers play it the other way around. Everything is perfect, the mix with the recording, your Latin sound and "sabor", I hope you can share more salsa songs.
