Debería volver el grupo B, en manos de pilotos cualificados eran un espectáculo verlos y toda una experiencia única el conducirlos, Walter Rohrl Audi Quatto spot S1 grupo B 1985-1986. Uno de los maestros.

Note that all these cars are different, their shape, engine, drive terrain, engine lay out, SOUND etc... all different and unique in their own way and that's what made them so special and fun to watch even after 35 years, now all rally cars looks same, sounds same just different details hardly recognisable by the audience so in my opinion modern rally cars are nowhere near special and exciting as these old legends.

Gee it would have been great if these cars had been allowed to continue their evolution. The Ford RS200 in particular never reached its potential, had that car been able to get fully sorted out it would have been a front line contender for sure. Although, the Peugeot 205T16 was the perfect rally machine, I reckon the only real competition it may have had was the Audi RS002, which of course never saw competition once the category was cancelled. That thing was a proper weapon. Had it been fully developed and competed as a factory backed car it would have been unbeatable. We'll never know now. Sigh.
One was better but it's came to late . This car com's from Zuffenhausen ( Stuttgart) They cal it 959 S . In this time the best modern sport car in the world . And the fastet . Winner of Paris Dakhar . a sport car in the dessert , and winn ? Two years in a line . PORSCHE the name of the future .

Today's rally only allows up to 380 hp these cars had more than 500 hp or even more the wrc has nothing to do with group b they were other times. Also in those times everything was more mechanical almost no electronics and you had to have enormous skill and ability so that the car would not take a toll on you and you would cause an accident. And if there were many accidents in that time, more for the safety that was scarce for the runners and the fans.
The turbo whistle and the engine noise from the 5 cylinder is one of the sweetest sounds on this planet😍😍

Rs 200 is my definite favourite followed by the 205 but the Audi has the best and most recognisable engine sound ever.

You know why most historic rallies are run on tarmac because modern drivers cant handle these on dirt and would lead to really big death count.
