Holy shit I've never heard a guitar rendition of Everything in Its Right Place
Same. It was incredible!!
I was working on one for my band now I feel empty ;_;
Is that a Radiohead song?
And to think I was disappointed when Mark left, Lemmo is just something else.
@@bryanlettow4389 yes
Absolutely nothing sounds like my 1966 Fender Mustang. When played through my 1967 Fender tube amp it's just the creamiest most unique clean sound of any guitar I've ever played or heard. The early Mustangs will undoubtedly rise to become one of the most collected guitars over the next decade
that radiohead cover is unlike anything I've ever heard someone play on a guitar
What song is it?
@@Huw_Evans everything in it's right place
I absolutely cannot stand Radiohead. God do I hate them.
@@snicker576 Uhh, why?
@@Riddle99-v7q Just pretentious-ass music. And their entire fanbase are snivelling, whiny children
EVERYTHING IN ITS RIGHT PLACE SOUNDS SO GOOD ON A MUSTANG HOLY SHIT
For my birthday this year my dad gave me his 67 daphne blue mustang, course since it’s been used a lot there’s wear but it just adds character. It actually turned into a greenish color over time. No relic job can do that! Truly an underrated Fender
I was looking at a guitar just like that! That green is the most beautiful shade I’ve ever seen!
These guitars truly are Fender's least appreciated, good models.
good god man you are one fortunate human
That is so damn cool. I'm so jealous.
Lemmo's guitar work is like a musical roadtrip... when he starts playing you dont know where you'll end up, but its gonna be fun!!!
Best radiohead cover ever! You just keep on impressing me
Man, I love going back in the vault and listening to Lemmo and Mark. This is such a gift. Thanks, guys!
Sans Mark, it would be blissful. 😂
Michael Lemmo is a genius on guitar!
I can remember as a young teenager in the late 1970's The Mustang, Duo Sonic, Music Master guitars could be bought for $150 bucks. They were considered much like the 1960's Epiphone Olympic guitars as beginners toys.. how times have changed
@Arthur Morgan, Formerly 4th Chairman The strike against Squier is they are not made in America
What say we build a time machine? Visit long-gone loved ones, tell a few high school bullies what lousy lives they're in for, catch a Zeppelin concert and buy up about 15 of those $150 Mustangs...
@@greg7656 in 1977 I bought a 1965 Epiphone olympic for $75 bucks. Considered junk at the time
@@contrabandjoe7974 nice
Don’t forget the fender bronco
The second tune was Unbelievable!!! Lemmo could make cardboard sound great!!!
He should play the cardboard strat that fender made. Lol
1st tune: Both pickups on.
2nd tune: Only bridge pickup on.
3rd tune: Both pickups on out of phase.
Had that exact same guitar 50 years ago.
Aw nuts, David Kieltyka beat me to it :)
Gotta love 'In Phase' 🎸👌
it's my current guitar ;)
In every mustang video he gets the switches wrong 🤦🏻♀️
great demo... refreshing to hear something other than speed scaling and metal posing.... nice one
That sound at 10:30 is why you need a mustang
My first electric guitar was the 1965 Fender Mustang, in this color.
I'm sorry I let mine go.
Thanks for the memories.
All the best.
Everytime I watch this guy he instantly makes me want to pick up the guitar
It's his fancy rings...
i come back to this video and every time i am blown away by this mans skill!
Mike I talked to everyone here and we all agree you should share the tab of That Radiohead cover of “everything in its place” its gorgeous man. So good. It’s decided. Pretty please.
Radio head? That sounds great
I love the shorter scale length. Mustangs are a dream to play.
Lovely playing. Vintage guitar, vintage amp, buckets of talent. (just acquired a ‘66 Mustang)
That outro while the loop plays 👌
This guy is a beast of a guitar player
This guitar sounds so good.
This cover is amazing. I’ve watched this a few times. That guitar suits it to. Love the mustangs
Everything in its right place. Awesome
Thank you, your playing is very inspiring. Beautiful guitars, beautiful playing, beautiful people!! Normans Rocks!!
Lemmo, I won’t ever be anywhere as good as you but you inspire me to keep playing.
I love your loops so much!
Always a pleasure watching Lemmo perform. As the owner of a ‘66 Musicmaster in Daphne Blue, I approve of this guitar of the day!
This guy plays amazingly. And is also handsome. Congratulations! .
What is the one guitar that Norm would never sell? His favorite above all others?
What one guitar has Michael never played, that he wants to play?
Lemmo’s playing SO DAMN GOOD and 🍹refreshing!!! His Everything In Its Right Place at the beginning is so beautiful and just genius. Thanks again Lemmo 🙏🤘⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
Love that second loop. That was great.
Your skills never cease to amaze me Lemmo, drooling over this guitar!
Just when I'm considering selling my Mustang.. Nice playing. Thank you for making me realize I'm keeping it.
loving the loop pedal vibes with that mustang. Absolutely killed it had to follow the insta half way through the first one
Damn, I love how that thing sounds. Did not expect that
Thaaanks ! More than a pleisure to listen to Lemmo very day !
I used to have that exact same guitar but it was a ‘66. I got it for $500 because it was covered in puke green spray paint. I buffed it off carefully and the original finish was still totally intact. It was still bright blue underneath, so the spray paint almost kind of preserved it. Lol
Sold it for $1300 and bought a KILLER 73 Strat for $1500.
The Mustang was a GREAT little guitar. Super cool tones. I’m just more of a Jazzmaster guy.
Edit: Props for the rad guitar arrangement of Everything in Its Right Place!! I play that EVERY time I play piano.
Had the same experience with my '65. Dude from Houston had had painted the whole thing black. Neck n all. With a brush! I sanded but took most of the original finish off too, sadly. Resprayed blue & still use her in the studio today. A lovely old girl
I picked up a 64 for 600 but the finish is stripped and just lacquered wood. I'm not sure what to do. Have someone do a new daphne blue or just leave it. At this point either way won't kill the value.
Jen & Mark were a good team, Jen & Michael are a perfect team
Paid 259.Buks brand new..was 15 in 65..after Nam in 69 took it to Okinawa still in army. Gave it to best friend Tom Shultz from Escanaba mich.in 71. What a Bomb guitar. Psycos in Jack Town Mich. 66..67..Johnny. Kent. Bob n Danny Ray
I love the color blue is one of my favorite colors also doesn't help Kurt played it haha adds to the cool factor
Killer sounds! Came for the Mustang stayed for the Lemmo
Such a stunning guitar
I got my lefty 65 Mustang in NYC when I was 18. I’m 60 now and still bashing those barre chords out on it with King Memphis!
I wish I could give more thumbs up for the Radiohead riff. 🙏
My first real guitar...65 mustang, played through a killer bassman amp...
Yesterday I woke up listening to Lemmo.
I've learned to love teh Mustang....I want a vintage one. Don't know why, I've always been a tele/les paul guy...but the more I play the more I find they're not 'needed.' Give mea guitar with mojo like this and I'm good. I'm thinking duo-sonic is next on my list.
and Lemmo is a giutar god!
I LOVE RADIOHEAD LETS GOOOOOOOO
all guitars in dahpne blue are special , also the ones in welma red...
That sounds super nice 😍 beautiful colour too!!
Everything in its Right Place sounded really good here!
first loop is beautiful!!!
Wow!! Such a great guitarist...! Putting so much expression, emotion and depth! I guess music happens to be a real healing tool to our soul's journey in life - Lemmo is a true artist in the best and noblest way.
I bought one of these ("66, same color) that was bought new, played for one year and then stored in a closet for 32 years.
that color is perfect for a mustang
Beautiful playing
LOVED the trivia, LOVED the Mustang!! Well done y'all!
was NOT expecting everything in its right place. jaw on floor shit lol
I got this same color and year Mustang used for 150 in 1974 ! Used it in High school Stage Band!!!
I love your guitar demo. Cool!
Took me a while to figure out what the switches did on my brother's Mustang. You missed one of my favourite tones, the neck pickup on its own. That last sound, the out-of-phase tone, was never something i could use, but Lemmo makes it work, don't he?
I couldn’t really make out what Lemmo said before he switched to the last position. Is it possible he said “bridge position”? If so, then he didn’t realize he actually had it in both pickups out of phase. You’re, he made it sound great! But i don’t think we heard just the bridge pickup in this video.
gasped when i heard that opening piano through your guitar
My dream guitar
A demo where you can hear what the guitar sounds like. Thank you.
Exactly
Dave Alvin from the blasters played one. Back in the 80s
Yes!
Nice 4/4 radiohead Lemmo. Im always amazed at how good those little old student guitars sound
just got my first mustang. Own a Jazzmaster and a Tele and the sound is somewhere in the middle.
You were ASLEEP? andstill noodling beautifully = What a Guy !
Beautifully done Lemmo ! Thanks Jen ! 😎🎸🎼🤘
That was very hypnotic.
Nothing wrong with a mustang! Especially a blue one at that! However! Gotta do a Maton!
that first jam was way cool, rad chords and tremolo use way cool Mr Lemmo, you have quite the God given gift to make a guitar sing!
it was 'Everything In Its Right Place' by Radiohead!
I had one of these when I was 16 a long time ago.
I got a 1964 Mustang (in red) to replace my Sears Silverstone dual pickup guitar). I used it in one of the first "garage bands" I was in (Lincoln and the Contental's). It was great, but it would break strings due to the trem system. I wound up building a custom hollow body replacement that emulated a Mosrite. It was great! Years later I traded it for a new jazz guitar.
@Arthur Morgan, Formerly 4th Chairman Thanks!
My first guitar. Got it new and blue in 1966. Had Teles and Strats - but just like your first girl something about your first Fender.
Everything in its right place is so dope lemmo well donr
Random, but I almost ordered a Daphne blue strat for my high school graduation gift. Bought a 75 less Paul deluxe that I still have instead. I have a grey cat that I named Daphne after that blue color. Between that and fiesta red are my two favorites.

Mustangs look almost like toy guitars but - my God - they sound so, so good!!
Those mid60’s and early 70’s mustangs were a staple of early Ska musicians, too. Cheaper, lighter, and more often resold than strats and teles contributed to that, I suspect.
I had a Daphne Blue Mustang the serial started with a L on the neck plate. But it had the F also embossed on the neck plate.
Everything in its right place... Nice!
The thing is, I think that people should always, always, always announce that they are going to play a cover song before they play it. Otherwise, the vast majority of their audience will give them unearned credit for the song.
Also, I HATE Radiohead.
what a beautiful guitar!
The tune at 3:43 is just beautiful
It's Everything In Its Right Place, by Radiohead!
The q&a segment is an awesome idea!
I have a mustang the exact model year and color just a little more used. It was my weapon for ten years and it played some pretty heavy shit as opposed to alternative. Was playing crunchy extreme metal and was convincing at it. Won a battle of the bands with that guitar and did even use a metal pedal or a stack of Marshalls.
wow, thats in amazing condition!
Awesome guitar and great playing from Lemmo. Perhaps you can include in future what kind of looper he uses in the narrative. Thanks.
Jen sounds like she loves Michael. Endearing.
Awesome!!! You’re totally doing the guitar justice. Great guitar, great playing.
Lemmo, you're amazing! love your creativity and passion for music!! don't leave Norm ... haha
You nailed everything in its right place!!
Could Lemmo please play a Mosrite 6 String Guitar some time? The last Mosrite you featured was a Joe Maphis Bass. That Bass' Knobs aren't original, BTW. Also, please don't call the most common Mosrite Single Coil a "P90" (many people do, they look similar and Mosrite isn't well known in America anymore. It's easy to confuse the two.) It's not a P90, it's too small; it's at least 1/4 of an inch shorter (3/8" shorter, I think) and it has more wire in the coil than a P90; they tend to be in the 11k - 12k range unless they're the cheaper version without pole pieces.
Who hurt you
@@Josh-iw2kw I'm not being rude and/or abrasive, am I? If it came across that way, sorry. I did what I could to be as gentle as I could in my wording, though I was concerned it might still come off as rude. I wasn't calling names or anything like that. It's just, you know if you have a Fender Duo Sonic and someone calls it a Mustang? That's the same story I'm referring to; they look pretty close but before confusion could start, someone should say they're not the same animal; otherwise, if someone goes shopping for one, they could get the wrong item that only looks similar. I was doing what I could to be informative, not abrasive. Sadly, internet text doesn't tell voice tone at all.
@@101Volts Nah don't worry man, I was just taking the piss haha. That's fair enough, it's only factual.
I’m sure Norm is hiding a Ventures model somewhere...
@@Josh-iw2kw Alright, no worries. I'm just big on Mosrites, and since most people in America aren't, there are a few myths flying around these guitars. Japan loves Mosrite guitars, though.
I had a comp orange with red stripes Mustang. If l remember right it was a mid 60's guitar.
Everything in its right place sweet
Way to go Lemon... Telling specs finally.... More in depth!
radiohead intro ,love these videos, just bought a mustang ,had to lock the bridge tho ,the tremolo are pony
