My favorite way to play lizard is to stick it in front of an emu. Everytime it's hit, it summons its tail, the tail gets killed, and then he gets kicked back to the front, usually all healed up. It's an amazing summon counter.
So there are sniper builds for anti summon builds, but you could go big lemon builds to counter sniper builds, but summon builds counter you, SAP rock paper scissors
watching this video now, it's kinda clear why they nerfed the flying fish and the lizard lol. the flying fish nerf needed to happen but the lizard nerf feels lame.

yo i just did this exp build with summoning using flying fish and clownfish clownfish buffs the overall stats and flying fish will level it up
