- Piers Morgan says Prince Harry has been repeatedly exposed "as someone who wouldn't know the truth if it slapped him around his California-tanned face."
"I've never hacked a phone or told anybody else to hack a phone."
Mr Morgan accuses the Duke of Sussex of having a “ruthless, greedy, and hypocritical enthusiasm” for intruding on the lives of his own family.
He continued: “This is a guy who has repeatedly trashed his family in public for hundreds of millions of dollars even as two of its most senior and respected members were dying - his grandparents.
“It’s hard to imagine, frankly, more appalling behaviour than that.”

I wonder if it were one of us showing up in Court with no proof but only feelings and saying we thought the Court would produce the truth if we would have won any of our claims. I think what he won was solely the items Mirror Group had offered him a settlement of years ago and he turned down as he wanted equivalent to what Prince William settled for despite H only had 9 instances of possible intrusion and Prince William over 200. His lawyer did not make any inroads on the other instances.

I find the fact that a judge took evidence and named a name in his judgement WITHOUT requesting that the person being sullied answer the claims against him, is very concerning. This judgement appears to be based on "probability" due to tacit admissions of illegal gathering of information, in the past, by other news outlets. The 2 witnesses to the supposed involvement of Piers are both controversial, having perjured themselves in the past. Not a balanced judgement when dubious testimony is given weight, and a man is publically implicated in wrong doing on the basis of such testimony.
Dubious according to who? Are you a lawyer? A judge? Were you at the hearing? Are you aware that Piers Morgan credibility was very much challenged during the Leveson inquiry! What matters is facts not your opinion largely influenced by the hateful narrative perpetrated by the British media and raging pundits like Piers Morgan! It's not up to judges to ask for evidence. Each side decides on what evidence to present when putting their cases. If judges asked for evidence they would be entering lawyer territory, trying the case and behaving in a partisan way for one side or another, when it's their role to decide only on the evidence presented to them. For reasons only they know the Mirror Group team chose not to call Piers as a witness.

@@ellie.l6585 very true but when a judge verbally tells the court he isn't going to read all the evidence placed in front of him because (1) there are copious amounts of it (2) he has a holiday booked and doesn't have the time to read it and (3) then hands down judgement giving reasons why he came to his judgement but all the reasons were 100%wrong - if only he had read the evidence and wasn't in a haste.
@@jwalsh4219 I'm certainly not supporting the judge's findings as I wasn't present to hear the evidence presented by both sides. I would however find it very hard to believe that any judge would disregard properly adduced evidence due to time constraints caused by a pending booked holiday. Time estimates for cases are carefully calculated before being assigned to any particular judge. If it is the case that any judge has improperly failed to consider admissible and cogent evidence that supported a claim/defence then the losing side should use it as a ground of appeal.

Calling Scoobie "a credible witness" should have told all of us what sort of a judge this is. Scoobie has proved to be a liar as has Harry. What's credible about that? No wonder many of us have no faith in the courts or the legal system. Many of us here in Australia have stopped calling it "justice" as there doesn't seem to be any.

No we don't. If this trial was held in American courts, Piers would have had his butt in court needing to testify as to why his company illegally tapped phones.
