  • A begger ask for money on the streets of Naples.
Or perhaps someone travels across the world collecting different notes from different countries.
The they rip the money, all in all 15 to 20 banknotes, and leave it lying on the street, on a cardboard folded in half, presumably the bed of some homeless guy.
Why did they rip the money, was it a fit of rage, an act of defiance towards society and capitalism, or drunkenness gone sour?
I guess we will never know the true story.
However it intrigued me, so I decided to share it and to use one of the ripped notes to fool around and light a cigar with it.
The fake begger scene was shot along the Path of Gods, near Agerola.
The notes found in via Duomo, Naples, around 9.00am., and they include many different currencies: Indian Rupees, Malaysian Rupees, Chinese Yuan, South African Rand, Nigerian Niara, Argentinian Pesos. So all from developing countries, or currencies of low/ little value here in Italy.
This could explain the frustration of their owner, who chose to rip them and leave them.
