  • This week, in a brand new travel episode, we explore the world's largest canoe-camping reserve in the Réserve Faunique La Vérendrye in the Outaouais region of Quebec. We spend 3 days, 2 nights, exploring this immense nature reserve. With over 800 km2 of canoe circuits, over 13 000 km2 of protected land, and 4 000 lakes, this is as true paradise for canoe-camping enthusiasts as well as a great place to deconnect.
New to canoe-camping? So were we! With Canot-Camping La Vérendrye, you can not only rent a canoe, paddle, life vest, and other useful equipment, but their friendly and knowledgeable staff will help you out and set you on your way with confidence. If you are still missing necessary equipment, I recommend you visit Alt Plein Air in Gatineau who sale and rent great camping equipment.

Your videography is awesome, Brandon. I think I might have been expended after that second round of portage. It does give one an idea of what those early French trappers endured. Thanks for sharing

Consideridering doing a loop here this summer, is the procedure just to show up and select the route or is there a reservation process?
