Huge admiration for this model human being. I never tire of listening to him even though I am not Jewish. He warned of the dire events we are witnessing today. I fail to understand why so many in the ‘enlightened’ west fail to criticise those who question, vilify and attack Jewish people. Then again, Rabbi Sacks talked about precisely this in one of his lectures in which, yet again, he identified the kernel of the problem and offered the only solution. Reconciliation.

How much we can learn from the wisdom so eloquently represented by Chief Rabbi Jonathan Sacks, sharing "the narrative" of the Jewish story, linking it to the unfoldment of the Christian and Islamic religions, and how this narrative can mobilize us, today, to encounter "the stranger," with a deeper listening, a deeper compassion realizing that, in essence, we're all siblings on this very unique, limited planet.

I really enjoyed listening to Chief Rabbi Sir Jonathan Sacks lecture he did an excellent job getting his message across I had received it in this medium the comparison of the two narratives of Jacob and of Ishmael was very profound in dialogue. I also liked his oral culture to literate culture theory. What a wonderful speaker. What a powerful message. Thank you.

What about the proposition, one I have come to by Mary Baker Eddy, that Psalms 16:8, may be incident on a soul in progress, from reliance on our faith in material means of survival, to reliance on our faith in the combination of God, God's amenity toward helping us, if we stand humble, and our own efforts to conform to His revealed love and faithfulness toward us, in which His testimonies and laws are written.

Not withstanding the timeframe of this broadcast being about twelve years past, I am hard pressed to Express my observation of the Collage Presidents efforts to set up the invisible wall around the Globalists socialists philosophy he seems to embrace.
In my opinion he was setting up the boundaries for the extent to which Rabbi Sacks must maintain His lecture.

A theft did Proverbs 6:19 causing strife giving way to the theft of a property. Leviticus 6:5 says it will be restored 5 times. The person who was deceived suffered from cognitive issues the theft had no pity Samuel 12:6. I would expect Gd to protect against such things and I believe he does however, the fact that there is redress for such things means it happens. Pursue justice.

Interesting that Abel's devotion was preferred over Cain's so Cain put the Kobosh in supersessionism.

Sadly, the followers have lost their 21st century discrimination. They are not the literal words of any gods but the birth myths of their societies. Like all births, some are easy , some are difficult and the cultures that result reflect that in their contemporary freedoms or lack of in how their people are treated. The level of tolerances vary, as do birthing process, but it time for the child , the human, to cut the apron and mature. The alternative is constant immaturity and violence.

Sacks loses sight of the fact that the 3 Abrahamic faiths arent the only faiths and other faiths with equal numbers of followers exist and in history they have been far less violent than the people of the book.
