Thanks for the tour! My first cruise was this summer on HAL Zaandam to Alaska. Watching your videos helped me know what to expect and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip! This tour reminded me a lot of Zaandam - just bigger, a few extra venues, and a little fancier. At any rate, thanks for all your videos. I really enjoy the vlogs and live chats and have learned a lot. I can't wait to book my next cruise, hopefully this Christmas (I share Jill's former vacation schedule restrictions but enjoy my breaks throughout the year as a school teacher near Woodstock, ON).

We found that Cunard was one of the least expensive options cruising to Alaska which is why we booked. They seem to be more expensive on different itineraries. Thanks for watching.
It is a beautiful classic decor cruise ship with lots of wood throughout. It is maintained in excellent condition. It definitely has a different feel from the modern design of Rotterdam.
We noticed that they had solo events in the program daily. They also have solo cabin but they sell out quickly. We tried to book a solo cabin for a family member when we booked our trip but they were already sold out last November.
Thanks for the tour! The ship is gorgeous. Curious: did Cunard provide hair conditioner on the cruise? I'll be sailing on the QE in September, and the stateroom toiletries only listed shampoo.
Excellent overview of a beautiful ship. Did you find that everyone dressed up all the time or was there a relaxed feeling around the ship. We are going in 2025 and this video has certainly whetted our anticipation
We found that people dressed up more than we have seen on other cruises in the last decent. On their gala nights most women were in long gowns and men in either a tuxedo or black suit. The other nights were more smart attire with men wearing a collared shirt with sometimes a sports jacket. During the day it is pretty much like any other ship.
Is Harrods Store still on the ship? My sister and I took a mini cruse on QEII from NYC to Saint John NB a long time ago. Beautiful ship!! My sister said it was in the 1980’s so definitely the old Queen Elizabeth lol
We generally film our ship tours the morning of our last day. Sometimes we will take a clip from something. We have filmed leading up to that day. For instance, the buffet, if it’s too busy when we’re trying to film.

Great tour. Lovely ship but maybe a bit dated? Hard to tell from the video. How does it compare to HAL pinnacle class like Rotterdam?

Unfortunately there is no Harrods on board the ship. Mrs.Canuck would of loved that! 🛳
