Taking Down Trees with Fiat-Allis 545B

For this project, I use ‘Big Alice’ to help take down some trees. Whenever I have trees that are close to facilities, structures, or utilities, I call in experts to bring them down. The team I called in are a crew out of West, VA that I’ve worked with before. They are little rough around the edges, but when it comes to taking down trees, he knows what he is doing.

I always thought a wheel loader would be more useful than a track loader especially with ag tires , It is faster doesn't tear up ground and pack it so tight it kills trees and bigger bucket

I'll tell ya a lot can go wrong with the way that was done but when there's just no other way than spending a ton of money on a bucket truck.. good job glad no one was hurt and everything was okay...

Yes, you are absolutely correct. Definitely ‘better’ ways to get it done. I considered a bucket truck and a crane, but I felt confident in my buddies experience and skill. We came out ok with only the 1 light pole as a casualty.
